Introduce Your OCs!
I wanna try to do something fun like this each Sunday (creativity permitting) and have been working on a one-shot, chatting, and watching the superbowl today so I didn't get it out earlier. BUT, if you like, I'd love to hear any or all of the following for your OCs! And feel free to link any fic they appear in!
If they were a SHOE, what kind of SHOE would they be?
What nature/scenery/setting most encapsulates who they are?
What's one thing you'd notice about them immediately and one thing you would only notice after a lot of time and depth?

My OC is Maadienne "Mad Momma" Dax aka "Mad". She is a Nomaadi woman who travels the galaxy with her force sensitive teen "Love" on their ship, the Dread Beldame. For more info, here's the fic:
THE SHOES: High top sneakers. The comfy and well worn ones. The Nomaadi like to embellish their clothing. Sometimes the embellishment tells a story about them and their travels. They also patch up items in a decorative way to repair their clothing, shoes, and personal items so they last longer. They are serious DIY'ers (like my Punk, Goth, and Artsy-Fartsy Community). The Nomaadi also will cut snippets of cloth from their clothing and exchange it amongst friends and loved ones to use as patches or embellishment. This way, a part of that person will always be with you.
THE SETTING: A bonfire under the stars. The Nomaadi are referred to as "The Star People". They continue to move through the universe and never settle down for various reasons. But occasionally they do. They build their bonfires during "Reunion": the few safe times when they gather en masse to dance, drink, share food/supplies, and catch up on community/family. Even if they aren't traveling amongst the stars. Mad is always looking up at them. Marveling at the universe of possibilities.
The stars are tattooed on every Nomaadi family member's chest. They wear it proudly over their hearts.
Mad is a bright light in the darkness. A warm beacon, safe haven, and occasionally if not tended to properly will burn too hot. The bonfire has significance when Mad meets Hunter (her "Hunky") and eventually at their last goodbye.
WHAT YOU NOTICE IMMEDIATELY ABOUT MAD: Her silver mohawk. Hard to NOT notice.
WHAT YOU NOTICE AFTER A LOT OF TIME AND DEPTH. A deep emotional well. She's a bit sad and scared around the edges. It comes from the constant possibility of losing people close to you. Also, past treatment that was considered abusive. Trust is hard. The Empire isn't helping.
Mad is also (as her namesake) angry and crazy. She figured she had to be a little of both to survive in this galaxy. She TRIES to control and use them both constructively. But it can get away from her, especially when she perceives something as wrong or there is danger.
First and foremost: Mad is a MOTHER figure. She cares for those who need her help. She and Love are refugee smugglers who are trying to keep people safe in a vast dangerous universe. The Nomaadi do this as they are extremely adept at being evasive...and their family comprises of not just family blood, but adopted stragglers from all over the galaxy. The Nomaadi teach it is vital to reach out past your comfort zone to extend sanctuary to others in need. (They believe in Paying It Forward.)
She's a flawed character. Mad tries to do right. When life gives you less than stellar options, have to make the best of the sugar coated turd you're given.

I've created three different versions: a Grand Army of the Republic Personnel Datafile, a Jedi Archive Member Record Datafile, and an ISB Suspect Datafile.
