I had seen a post about someone saying there aren’t enough goths that do music and I think I want to expand on that and say I think there aren’t enough goths that do art in general. Like, putting clothing pieces together is definitely an art form but I think a lot of goths have the potential to become musical and creative artists like painters and musicians. Someone could be the next Mugler or Peter Murphy.
I think a lot of us including myself, are afraid to put ourselves out there artistically. Or maybe don’t know how to.
I know it’s really tough out here with the prices of everything so I’m not really pressed, but for me personally I’d like to dabble in more things like maybe learn a new instrument or try and get into photography like I wanted.
I also wanted to get into designing clothes and stuff on a sort of professional level and maybe asking some of my goth friends to model for me. I’ve got tons of ideas but 😬whoever said diy isn’t expensive LIED.
Anyways, all this to say I think goths in particular have a true potential to become really intricate and unique artists. Specializing in all things dark and spooky. I’d definitely love to see more of it.
Also I did a bit of modeling for the first time the other day
