Sardonyx Hellvile Lestrange

A bit of a reintroduction, my name is Sardonyx Hellvile Lestrange. I am black, I am goth but most of all I am black, obviously. I love all things gothic and unique related. My account is a positive black queer space and I won’t tolerate any hatred whatsoever.

My style is equally as performative as it is personal. I’ve been within the goth community for nearly a decade.

With that being said, I don’t often see a ton of black representation or acknowledgement within the community. I have been told countless times that i should use the white foundation base for a lot of my makeup looks or that I should straighten my hair.

And while that’s not necessarily bad I often feel like it takes away from the uniqueness to my personal look. The Afro that I often have gives me a sense of power that I love. That and I get many compliments from little girls saying how much they like the look. And growing up being told that my hair looked ‘messy’ and ‘nappy’ in its natural state, hearing that warms my heart.

I unapologetically love my look and I hope to find more black alternative people in the future.

Never understood the “hear me out” Olympics. Like..why are we trying to performatively find some outlandish thing to call attractive. In most cases (that I’ve seen) are just things that are borderline controversial. And over the years it’s just become a competition to see who “likes” the most weirdest thing.

Some of these people might as well be soft launching that they like children or literal animals at this point.

I’m so big on minding your business culture that I forget that people literally can’t do anything without being in somebody else’s business. like there would be two people of the same sex holding each other‘s hand down the street and I’ll hear somebody say oh that’s so weird they’re gay or whatever and it’s just like..?? So?? Mind your business. Like I’m convinced that almost 90% of our issues nowadays or our societal issues because people refused to mind their business.

You don’t like what that person is wearing? mind your business. You see a person in a full fursuit, what do you do? you mind your business. Like if people stop trying to police with other people do I swear we’d be on our way to healing right now.

Like I just saw a post that somebody made like stitching a video about a comment that somebody had made on this person with a buzz cut and it was dyed in a way that looked like leopard print and the person commented “so are you on HRT or are you on chemo? Was it done on purpose?” And that’s like such a rude thing to ask, as if you deserve any type of answer. Like who cares what she did with the hair it looked good.

I like stuff for me personally I’ll be sitting at like a mall or something. I’ll see somebody take a picture of me and once I see it, I angle my body in a way where they can’t get like a good clean picture of me because why is it that people feel so entitled to do certain things when all in all they could just mind their business.

Not to out myself for having a cringe childhood but people look at me crazy when I tell them all those gacha life gacha club games had chat rooms😭and that I would be on them religiously. BUT NO ONE BELIEVES ME. “Gacha never had chat rooms” YES THEY DIDDDD YES THEY DID IM NOT CRAZY
