Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. Even though there are drastic differences between human cultures and the way we express ourselves. Each of these thousands of ways of moving the muscles in our faces, serve to express and reinforce one of the six basic emotions: anger, disgust, enjoyment, fear, sadness, and surprise. And the most powerful and profound facial expression of them all? The smile. Smiling is universally considered to be a way we display joy. It can communicate our internal world to people on the outside, and it can be a welcoming sign to new people. When we smile, our muscles can send feedback to our faces and help to boost our mood. Why I say so it was a lovely day to move through Stockholm with Mikaela and we ended up at #Bredäng where there was a live band performing for people in the park and it is played by two Ugandan, Congolese then with a photographer from the roots of Bugiri but with background of Kenyans. So I met someone called #Bryan Arwa who is running an online Tv platform which you love to check out called #Arwa-iCTv on YouTube and Facebook. And I need to say that thank you #Arwa Bryan for taking us this cool picture during our time at Bredäng and I hope we meet up again. 📸📸 By @Arwa-ICTv #Band #liveperformance #traveller #travelphotography #nature #smile #smiling #smile😊 #meditation #peaceofmind #peaceandlove #meetingnewpeople #happiness #yogaboy #communityyoga #communityswing #lindyhopperslife #swingdancers #swingdancing #lindyhopper #sweden #visitstockholm #yogateacher #OkurutGeorge (at Bredäng) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfq68BQKc2G/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Focus on your future with smile than focusing on people who come on your life for the short period to make you stressed and depressed. #support #share #Donate https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-okurut-george-and-family #positivevibes #freeminded #peaceofmind #healthylifestyle #Smiling #focus #determined #confidence #nomadlifestyle #nomadiclife #communutyyoga #travelling #travelwithyoga #adventure #nature #meditation #peacein #peaceout #yogahomepractice #yogateacher #okurutgeorge (at Kampala, Uganda) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_MWj3vFSAw/?igshid=rwj6c3x8022r

Smiling can help you look thinner and even younger. "Studies have shown people who smile are viewed by others as more attractive, reliable, relaxed and sincere," writes author, motivational speaker and brain. Smiling is contagious, in fact. When people perceive a facial expression in others, "they partially activate the corresponding emotional state in themselves," according to recent research in Trends in Cognitive Sciences. So when dealing with a difficult situation with a coworker, for example, smiling at him or her "can help reduce stress in the moment," notes Smith. Smiling also lowers your heart rate and blood pressure, which is true of even fake smiles. A study at the University of Kansas showed lower heart rates after recovery from stressful activities from participants who were instructed to smile as opposed to those who weren't. The most appealing and sincere smiles are, of course, best. A genuine smile, also known as a Duchenne smile for the neurologist who identified it, engages both the mouth and the eyes. A forced or standard smile—such as when someone asks you to pose for a photo or you're trying to be nice—only uses the muscles around your mouth. Sometimes a fake smile is better than none at all, according to some researchers. All said, there are days that you may have trouble finding any reason to smile. "Sometimes smiling just isn't going to cut it," Smith advises. "If you're having a hard day or something traumatic happens, it's better to try to cope directly with the situation and realize that you're going to be sad. There's no sense in beating yourself up over not smiling." Under normal circumstances, however, Smith says, "taking a deep breath or even touching your toes can help you get back into your body" and induce a smile. Even small reminders, such as putting sticky notes in various places, setting alerts on your phone or even using a favorite screen saver can remind you to smile. The point is to find something that engages your soul and slows you down so you can think about smiling #Smiling #happy #yogateacher #yogatransformation #peaceofmind #meditation #healthylifestyle #youthyoga #communutyyoga #peacein #okurutgeorge (at Kampala, Uganda) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-mQPZNHNIX/?igshid=6d89qdfpga53
