that rain fight motivated this scene. "it's not my fault you don't like girls," meanwhile mike can't even write pretend to write "love" on his present to his girlfriend, he only kisses her with sunglasses on.
"will's been painting a lot. i think there is a girl he likes" ... 1) will has only ever gifted mike his drawings outside of his family. 2) will said he wouldn't get a girlfriend 3) he wouldn't "join another party" - a romantic promise = the reason why they fight later on.
