HI THANK YOU!! fun fact i was actually in the little nightmares fandom and posted on amino for YEARS around 2018 i believe? i doubt that’s gonna ring a bell for anyone but JUST IN CASE!!

currently this is kinda my only fandom? i go through cycles lol. my last two were the last of us and good omens. i mean i guess you could count goth history perhaps? i’ve been really into reading about goth and industrial bands and all that. i’m a little obsessed with nivek ogre 😭😭

So I know when it comes to byler that we like Mike for a unicorn in a Last Unicorn AU

BUT HEAR ME OUT WILL BYERS BEING THE UNICORN

So, in the movie/book Lady Amalthea falls in love with a KNIGHT (and prince) Prince Leir

Sure, she meets Schmendrick the Magician but they're not love interests in the slightest, his love interest was Molly Grue

Prince Leir gives suuuch Mike Wheeler vibes plus Lady Amalthea has magic as a unicorn and protects the lilac wood with it

She protects all those within it

I think that fits Will Byers very well

King Haggard would be Henry Creel of course and I believe the Red Bull would be the Mindflayer

Molly Grue I imagine being Max and Schmendrick being El (Schmendrick fits more the personality of Dustin but the magic makes me wanna do El plus her and Max are cutie)

Prince Mike (Leir) could have been friends with a jester for his father's court, Dustin and his squire, Lucas

Since the King adopts Prince Leir that would also explain Henry being Mike's dad

Trying to think up of a ship name for it

I'm thinking maybe lilacheart because of the lilac wood and Mike's whole being the heart but idk

i’ve actually thought about this a lot whenever i rewatch the movie. the way prince leir talks about love is verrrryyy mike, i might have to draw this sometime soon 😭
