I’ve just submitted my acrylic painting “Old Toby and old tales” to the Tolkien Society Awards 2026 in the category Best Artwork – and the first round of public voting is now open 🌿 This piece was inspired by the quiet magic of Middle-earth: shared stories, pipe-weed, and the timeless comfort of friendship by the fire. If you enjoy my interpretation of Tolkien’s world and would like to support me, I’d be very grateful for your vote. 🤍 You can find the voting link and the artwork link below. No matter the outcome, I’m so happy to be part of this journey, and I want to thank you for your support – and may there always be time for old tales, good company, and a bit of Old Toby.

A little early year-in-review post – but 2025 has been such a wild, exciting and versatile year for me as an artist that I wanted to share a few highlights today.

This year was full of challenges, new worlds, new characters and so many different illustration styles – and I loved every single part of it. I really enjoy switching between traditional paintings, digital cover art, dark fantasy atmospheres, RPG illustrations and all the creative tasks that different publishers trust me with. I guess I’m simply up for (almost) anything when it comes to art.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the exciting projects I got to work on in 2025 – released and unreleased – and for all the amazing people I’ve met along the way. My traditional art journey continued as well, with exhibitions, conventions and so many warm encounters with people who love fantasy just as much as I do.

Being able to support myself and my family with the passion I’ve loved for more than 20 years still feels unbelievable sometimes. Thank you all for being part of this journey. 💛

And with the year slowly coming to an end, I’m already curious and excited about what 2026 will bring – new worlds, new challenges, new adventures.

Wishing you all a peaceful and cozy First Advent. ✨🕯️💛

Welcome to the Kingdom of Doriath 🌙

I painted this piece between 2019 and 2020 — it took me about a year to capture the calm, mystical beauty of the Elven realm of Doriath. Some of you might recognize it from my booth — it’s the large framed painting that always stands proudly beside me at conventions.

Hidden deep within the forests of Beleriand, Doriath was protected by Queen Melian’s enchantments and ruled wisely by King Thingol. The land itself seemed alive — ancient trees, gentle light, and a peace only found under the watch of the Sindar Elves.

✨ This painting was chosen as the official Ardapedia illustration for “Doriath” and published on the inner spread of the Tolkien Society Bulletin in 2025.

Fine Art Prints are now available in my shop for those who’d like to bring a little piece of Doriath home: https://shop.linestyle-artwork.de/ 🌿

Something a little different today… ✨ I had a few of my paintings made into acrylic keychains – so you can actually carry a tiny piece of my art with you. 🗝️💜 I honestly wasn’t sure if this was a good idea, but I thought it could be a fun way to bring my artwork into everyday life. What do you think? Would you use something like this on your keys or bag? They’re also available in my shop now : https://shop.linestyle-artwork.de/

Melyanna's Love - Oil on canvas, framed 49x59 cm - "This painting depicts the extraordinary love between Melian, the Maia, and Thingol, the King of Doriath. Their bond was so profound that they both left their origins behind to live together. Together, they founded one of the most important Elven kingdoms in Middle-earth. As my first work with oil paints, it was important to me to capture the mystical aura of Melian and the regal presence of Thingol in a harmonious and timeless scene. The love and unity between the two are reflected in every brushstroke." Painted in 2023 No AI was involved in the creation of this artwork. The signed original painting and other prints, will soon be available in my shop ( www.linestyle-artwork.de )

Hello everyone! 🌟 After a quiet start to the year, I'm finally back – and what better way to step into 2025 than with Resurrection – The New Divinity! 💫 This artwork holds a special place in my heart, as it represents the rebirth of a goddess – fragile yet immensely powerful, blind to her potential but ready to change the world. 🌍✨ It feels like the perfect way to capture the energy of a fresh new year: full of possibilities, a little uncertain, but oh-so-promising! Painted in 2022 (no AI involved!), this piece will soon be available as framed prints or posters (A3 & A4) in my new shop– because everyone deserves a bit of divine energy on their walls, right? 😉 Wishing you all a (lately) fantastic start to the year! Let’s embrace the unknown with courage and creativity. 🖌️💖

German Film and Comic con was a blast!! I'm back home. Totally tired but happy about all the great impressions and acquaintances I was able to make at this trade fair. I would like to thank everyone who visited me and also my dear co-exhibitors. I'll definitely be back next year.😊❤
