okay, i finished my first draft of 2012 for my original story! there are a few scenes i want to add eventually to flesh out some relationships more but i feel like i'm in a much better place with this draft because i decided to approach the love interest/main relationship differently (read: making them weirdly codependent + incredibly, horribly defensive about it to other people). i also started writing 2013 and then made myself mad at my own protagonist because he pulls some bullshit so i think that's probably a good stopping point for the weekend lmao
