I'm going to piss off the Eva Stratt fandom but despite the outcome of what she did, what she did WAS STILL BAD.
Bodily autonomy is not conditional!
You do not get to make that decision for people. Grace saved the stars because of Grace and Rocky and in spite of what was forced upon him. Eva had no idea how her decision would work out and she gambled with another human's life anyway.
I think it's possible for her to have made a morally bad decision for the right reasons, but that just doesn't make what she did not inherently bad.
I think her as a character is SUPPOSED to suck. She is an interesting character, she is a complicated character, but what she did was fucked.
It's more than a little devastating to see someone you love dearly just absolutely consumed by their addiction. To see them prioritize getting their fix over everything else, regardless of how much harm it causes themselves or the people who care about them. To watch them kill themselves slowly over a literal poison they think they can enjoy "in moderation". My heart is broken, but what the fuck can I do? I've tried everything else but our parents are dead, and you apparently want to be too, so I guess that's just how it is now.

Kickstarter removed my highest funding tier so I lost £11k of funding since earlier today.
BUT
I’ve managed to get the deadline extended in light of this. So this might still happen!
We’re into the last week now! This is close enough that I think this could actually happen, but it’s still got a way to go!
