ִֶָ. ..𓂃AVATAR FIRE AND ASH SPOILERS ࣪ ִֶָ་༘࿐
I apologize if this post may come as offensive for those who practices the christian religion. My intention is not to offend but to try and find the sense to the deep topic that Eywa represents for me, and the way i could asimilate it was with real life religion.
I also apologize if this post may not come up with much sense, my native lenguage isn't english, so i'm sorry for the bad grammar..
With that said, let's start with the ideas storm:
I think I have a theory to explain why Eywa's face can be represented in the way both Jake and Kiri did...
So, I saw a video on TikTok that said there were many biblical references in Avatar, and I want to use this to explain my argument:
Well, the reason I think other people's perception of Eywa is different in each case, as in the TikTok attached to this post where a part of the deleted scene "Dream Hunt" from Avatar 1, is shown, where Jake gets an hallucination during the initiation ritual of Eywa and Toruk Makto and a part of the third Avatar movie where Kiri, Spider and Tuk connect to the Tree of Voices on the Reef to ask Eywa for help during the final battle, it is because just like in the In real life, people have different perceptions of the god of the Christian religion.
Some imagine them with a human-like appearance, others see them as an omnipotent and all-powerful presence.
Maybe the "Eywa" we saw during that eliminated sequence was the perception of Jake towards her, because let's remember that he was still learning the way of the people, so that could explain why he saw Eywa not with a physical form, but as a light, a reaaally bright light.
He knows that Eywa is a deity, he knows her importance on the na'vi's way to see life, only that he didn't imagined her with a physical appearance just like some people who know the importance of a god in the world but also don't think they'll have a "body" since this omnipotent presence doesn't in a physical body, only through miracles and unexplained events.
And as for kiri, i can think of a reason of why she saw her as a na'vi, or at least, as an eye, a physiscal attribute.
Maybe she's part of that 50% and 50% that can imagine their deity of preference with a physical appearance.
She's been connected to Eywa ever since she was baby, maybe in her first communion with Eywa she saw a vission of her. That could be the reason why she imagines her like that during that vission AFAA.
And if we go farther; since Kiri is like Grace's clon (explained by Norm on AFAA), during the ritual to traspass her human consience to her avatar body after being shot, she said that she was seeing Eywa, she was "getting passesd throught the eye of Eywa".
Maybe that memory got passed to Kiri when she was born, since Kiri's father is supposed to be the Great Mother, maybe her existance and the image of her eye got passed to Kiri, since she participated on Kiri's conception.
And something i noticed on both scenes that the eye: on Jake's vission he only see lights and dots, but there's a few seconds sequence we (or at least i) can see a yellow iris on the center, and on Kiri's vission, she only managed to see Eywa's eye before an explotion interrupted the vission, destroying the reef's tree of voices on the process (spoilerrrssss).
Maybe this makes the phrase "Get pass through the eye of Eywa" make more sense, specially after AFAA ending scene. It didn't ended with the scene of Jake's eye opening suddenly, it ended with the billion of souls that are resting on all the tree of voices that are around Pandora. That, in my perception, is the eye of Eywa, every single one of those people got through her eye and passed to the beyond of the memories of the tree, and since Kiri is "Eywa's daughter", that could mean.. that we're seeing her eye.
AND THERE'S SOMETHING ELSE:
Some people are saying that during the scene where the glimpse of Eywa's face there could be seen an eyebrow, indicating that her apperance wasn't a na'vi's one, maybe it was a dreamwalker's or hybrid's appearance.
AND I THINK I HAVE TEORY FOR THAT ONE TOO! HEAR ME OUT:
So.. my teory.. is that Kiri.. is Eywa herself, and i want to cite the religious references again; so, in the christian religion, Jesus is supposed to be God's son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, part of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), and sent for the salvation of humanity, being both divine and human, and the awaited Messiah (Christ).
Also, The Bible calls him the Only Begotten Son, born of Mary and God the Father, inheriting divine powers and being the source of eternal life for those who believe, doesn't that sounds familiar?
Now, according to Google: "Yes, the central belief of Christianity is that Jesus is God, but also fully human, forming part of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); this is based on biblical statements where Jesus identifies with the divine "I Am" and attributes and actions of God are attributed to him, although some currents (such as Unitarianism) do not accept his full divinity, seeing him more as a great teacher or prophet, a key point of theological debate.", Kiri looks like a normal hybrid, like Lo'ak, but she also carries the powers and energy of Eywa with her.
And the reson why she sees Eywa's side face with the physical atribute of a dreamwalker such as a eyebrows, could be because.. she is Eywa herself.
Eywa doesn't want to hear her prayers because Kiri herself doesn't listens to herself, Eywa doesn't accepts her because Kiri herself doesn't accepts herself neither, they're both connected in a way that both can feel the energy and reject from one another.
So that's scene on the vission during the final battle on AFAA wasn't about Kiri finally seeing Eywa's eye, it was about her seeing herself in a more imposing and heavenly, more like a "goddess" and less as the "freak" she thinks she is.
And if we think more outside of the box, maybe Eywa is Kiri and Kiri's body, Grace's avatar's clone, one of the only humans who got to pass through her, is more like shell to save all her powers into one living being, not just the atokirinas, but also a living and awere of themselfs being who could use those powers for good (Just like God did with Jesus).
That could be the explanation to why Kiri managed to bring Spider back to life on AFAA (MORE SPOILERSS I WARNED YOUU) Something not even the Tsahiks haven't been able to do even if they're the ones who "represent" Eywa.
And another thing, before i go.. The "Currents" that google mentioned at that explanation of Jesus being god, could be the resemblers of the Mangkwan, those who question Eywa because of what happened to their home.
And maybe Eywa did not responded to Kiri's pleadings to something because even if the ash people turned their back to her, she still sees them as her children.
And no, i feel like the argument about how Eywa helped Jake but not Varang isn't really valid if we consider the fact that volcanos are a natural thing, is the nature reacting by itself, and the threath that the RDA represented to the na'vi was something Eywa must have responded to yes or yes, the sky people were threating the nature and balance of life on Pandora by forcing their technology and weapons on a place that didn't belong on the first place.
But that doesn't mean that i don't see Varang's side of things, it's understandable that she may have felt frustated and powerless at seeing her people suffer, which, probably drived her into the insane clan leader she is now, almost completely abandoning her role as olo'eyktan to protect her people, driven by a sense of sick control and power.
As well as may have suffered after feeling abandoned by the great mother, but that's a topic we're gonna talk about on another post.
Just so you know.. i do think that maybe the RDA had something to with the destruction of the Mangkwan's home, maybe they caused the volcano to explode, they've been running on facilities on pandora even before Jake arrived there to change it, there's nothing that has been to told to not think that they've could've had a facility near or even in the inside of a volcano, and they made a bad move that caused the volcano to explode and that may have caused the ash people's hometree destruction.. so now they're working the ones that ruined their lifes... damn-
Well, that's all, i kinda got distracted on another topic at the end, but's lets ignore it, please- i hope you liked this post!
BYE! :DD
Something else I forgot to add to this post, is the fact that there's a deleted scene on avatar 1 where we actually see what "eye of Eywa" means:
The eye of Eywa seems to be represented by the structure of the tree of voices and the high stones that are around it, making it look like an eye.
This could be the representation on nature of Eywa.

Anirikota - Tìsusrew tirea - Teyr tuté
Anirikota is a pandoran mythological creature. She's a spirit, sometimes seen as a full-size na'vi, sometimes closer to the size of a shimmyfly, with or without wings. She's often seen peeking with palpable curiosity from behind the trees. She can be encountered both close to spirit trees but also out in the jungle, where she often follows travellers through the shrubbery. It's advised not to follow her when she invites you on a playful adventure despite how inviting it may seem; she may not mean you any harm, but you may just lose your way and not find your path back. Some reports tell of her inviting to dance, and the invited Na'vi passing out of exhaustion after a whole night of laughter and dancing. She's a bubbly and curious creature with a friendly and safe demeanour, reflecting the wonder and beauty of the forest and how it may embrace you. But the tales of her also warns of how easy it is to get lost in that wonder if you're not careful.
Her name is atokirina backwards, reflecting her resemblance to the woodsprites that often hang around her. Her two nicknames are The White Woman and The Dancing Spirit, clearly eluding to her striking look and playful behaviour.
Varang
(I think I'm finally getting the hang of rendering dont wanna jinx it tho😭)
