one of them thinks that making out is going too far but the other one wants to climb all the way inside them and live in their body

I swear I'm still working on the "Bad End" extension, but in the meantime have an Andrew spread because these books have been rotting my brain

my genuine opinion on the "is fanfiction real literature" debate entire hinges on which side is being more annoying at the moment.

on one hand i have encountered people who think fanfiction writers are single handedly saving art , and think criticizing fanfiction is anti-queer or whatever" and those people are extremely annoying, on the other hand i have also encountered people who think fanfiction is degenerate slop with 0 artistic value that's rotting your brain" and those people are extremely annoying too, so i guess the only person i can trust is myself who has never made a pretentious post on the internet in my entire human life.

hi! I was wondering (with your permission of of course) if I can take and post a screenshot of your post because it’s a very interesting topic and would like to discuss this with the fandom on twitter, no pressure you can say no.

go ahead !!! i hope it sparks some productive discussion over there :)

learning how to drive in america is like a fucking saw trap.

hello teenager. in front of you is a 2 ton chevy trailerblazer. you can either start driving, putting yourself and those around you in immediate danger, along with causing you great anxiety, or you can spend your life aaking your friends and family to chauffeur you around town because you cant go butt fuck no where without a car. if you choose to drive, you will have to spend your life paying mandatory microtransactions for a mode of transport you hate. if you dont, you will have to ride the almost nonexistent public transport system and/or put yourself in grave danger by riding a bicycle down a 45 mph stroad. if you complain to anyone in your life about learning to drive a car, you get acid poured onto you. good luck.

🌿 ⇢ give some advice on writer's block and low creativity

My favorite subject!

  • I treat writing as part of my routine. I usually write around lunch or when I'm winding down for the day.
  • I also avoid making writing "something important". I don't like set up for it or make it a big deal. I just open the doc and go, no overthinking.
  • If I'm really blocked, I usually go back and edit old WIP and redo sections. I have multiple WIP going at once and usually find something my brain wants to do.
  • Save inspirations! I have a pinterest board of inspo, I have a playlist for longer fics, and I screenshot chunks of text I love in stories / fics / etc. Also examine why x and y piece works for you! Nice way to see what you can do better on in your own writing :)!
  • Write what you want to write when ur really blocked. Even if it isn't your current WIP or something you're ever gonna touch again. Just write. Be indulgent!
  • This is gonna suck but at some point you just have to write. You have to turn off everything, throw your phone to the other side of the room, and just write for 5 mins, for 10 mins, for as long as you can do it. You'll probably hate it but if you're already in the slump what can it hurt?

And forever my best advice is (for me) when a WIP is really stumping me I have to kill a darling. I might LOVE a scene, but something about it is stopping me. You wrote yourself into a wall and the block comes from not wanting to do something (redo a scene, rip out a section, redo a chapter, etc) than actual writer's block itself. Draft it and try something new!
