something about how neil wasn’t the first person to look at andrew and believe in him. kevin was the one who saw something in him and gave him something to hold onto. kevin gave him exy, and kevin found neil. he understood andrew and gave him the space to join him on court during their night practices on his own terms knowing that it would mean more than forcing him or asking him to join
kevin day was the one who gave andrew another reason to live, kevin gave him exy, he gave him a purpose and a team who helped him find his way to neil
