Based on a hide kilt depicted on the Hagia Triada sarcophagus. I may one day convert this to the female frame - maybe.
Based off a clay statuette of a Minoan woman in a state of worship from Piskokefalo.
Named after the mythical queen of Minoan Crete. Pasiphae was the wife of King Minos and the mother of the minotaur, Asterion. According to some traditions, she was a goddess of the moon and sorcery.
The dress is based off a ceramic vessel in the shape of a woman’s dress found at the site of Knossos. The skirt depicts crocus flowers near its base.
Prayers for Anna Apostolaki (Άννα Αποστολάκη), who was the first Greek woman to pursue a professional career in archeology. In 1926, she oversaw the reconstruction of ancient Minoan costumes as part of a three day festival held at the Panathenaic Stadium, among which included this beautiful dress.
Update
Fixed an issue with exploding LODs. Unfortunately, the nature of this fix required me to move the dress to another package, so if you will need to reapply the outfit in CAS (if you already have it equipped to sims in game.) I also removed the feet so they no longer clip through the bottom when the sim walks/poses. Just redownload and overwrite the original package, and you should be good!

This mini set is inspired by the story of Ariadne, the Cretan princess who helps Theseus to slay her half-brother, the minotaur Asterion. Which the hero repays her, of course, by abandoning her on an island somewhere in the Aegean... but, according to some versions of the story, all ends well for her. She is found soon after by the young god Dionysus, who falls deeply in love with her. The two marry, and he places her crown, which he had gifted to her at their wedding, among the stars, ascending her to godhood. Her sister Phaedra, however, marries Theseus. Poor Phaedra. Let’s just say things do not end as well for her.
Anyways, this set contains two hairs, both Minoan inspired, for females, with an additional package containing recolors for the headbands. The hairs are a mashup of a few of my favorite @tekri hairs and EA meshes. There also is a grape crown, fashioned for Dionysus, with Spring and Autumn variations.
