about me

  • I write fanfic.
  • Right now, I’m focusing on Loki/Reader one shots. They’re mostly smut.
  • Okay, maybe they're exclusively smut.
  • I also suffer from periodic James Conrad brainrot.
  • You can find my work on Tumblr and AO3. I do not post fanfic on any other platforms at this time. Please do not repost my work on other sites.
  • I don't have a tag list—it’s just a little too much for me to keep up with.
  • I don’t take requests, but my asks/DMs are open if you want to chat!
  • My updates are erratic. I am a slow-ish writer and I have a small child, so it can vary quite a bit.
  • Since we apparently have to say this now: I do not consent to having my work uploaded to AI or chatbot software.

my fics (on Tumblr and AO3 only)

two-shots

four to five shots

seeing people say "this trope has been done to death" as if that's ever stopped anyone from eating bread. BREAD HAS BEEN DONE TO DEATH FOR LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF YEARS AND WE STILL WANT MORE BREAD. write your chosen one AU. write your coffee shop meet-cute. write your 47th iteration of "there was only one bed" because guess what??? we're still hungry.

Framing illness as even involving morality seems to me a mistake, because of course cancer does not give a shit whether you are a good person. Biology has no moral compass.

Writing tips:

“You feel the bulge in his pants” - implies that you are feeling some guy’s penis, may be sexy depending on context

“You feel the bugle in his pants” - implies that this guy has a military horn in his pants, invites confusing questions like why does he have that and how big are his pockets

Both options convey that he's horny

How dare you be funnier than me on my own post

Okay, this apparently spoke to a lot of people on Tumblr and I’m going to have to mute notifications so my activity feed is usable again. But I want to acknowledge the multiple dyslexic people in the tags and comments sharing their experience staring at the words bugle and bulge on this post and being like “how are these different words?!” I will buy you Bugles (the corn chip) as an apology.

Do not forget that discord is still planning on moving forward with age verification and has only "delayed it" until "the later half of 2026." They are hoping you will forget while they quietly roll it out when no one is looking. Continue to message them about it. Continue to talk about it. Make it clear this is unacceptable. Discord is one of the only places left you can even talk about or share adult content in private at scale anymore. They will tell you "its not that bad if you dont use it for nsfw" but fuck them and fuck people who say that shit.

Anonymous asked:

Is there like a non creepy way to ask an AO3 writer if they have a tumblr one could follow? I left a comment on all fics of an author a while ago and had some cool discussion about their works in the comments with them and I would love to see more of their thoughts.

I think what you said here works!

I also don't think it's creepy to find someone interesting and follow them elsewhere. Back when I first started posting on AO3, it was pretty common for authors in my fandom to have the same username on both AO3 and their tumblr, so I wouldn't even have to ask. I'd just search them out here and then follow them.

I'm old and not super active on AO3 at the moment, so I don't know if that's still true though.

Reply to a comment in the chain or on a new fic if they've posted one, and say something like:

"I really enjoy these cool discussions we have in your comments. Do you have a tumblr I could follow? I'd love to see more of your thoughts."

Also, if you haven't already, check out their author profile page. They might have it linked there! I know I do.

(and when I think of it, I link it in my author's notes, but that doesn't happen all that often lol)

Authors - would you find this creepy? Is there a better way to ask?

Readers - how do you go about asking to find an author outside of AO3?

On a previous pen name and a different site, a reader messaged me and was like “I want to recommend your fic on my blog—I’ll link to your fic, but do you have a Tumblr?” I wasn’t on tumblr at that point, but I decided the community looked fun. So even if they don’t have one yet, you could be the reason the join!

Been a minute since I shared any snippets of WIPs. I’m still working on my Loki stuff, but I got this idea for a Jack Abbot fic and it has had me in a chokehold for the last couple weeks, so I’m gonna share something from that:

For not the first time, you find yourself wishing that Baran hadn’t won that grant. Baran is always winning grants—she is one of those people who is so pleasantly persuasive that you don’t even realize that she’s making a pitch for something until you’ve already signed the check and agreed to run the bake sale. It is very good that she uses this power for grant writing and not, say, starting a cult or a multi-level marketing company. Unfortunately, her most recent grant writing efforts had secured the funding necessary to send two PTMC attendings to the annual ACEP conference in Philadelphia: you and Jack Abbot.
You and Jack Abbot in a car. For almost five hours. Driving to Philadelphia.
You are kind of hoping that once you get there, he’ll have a bunch of networking stuff and briefly forget that you exist. It would be totally plausible for him to be very busy meeting up with old friends from med school or connecting with other doctors who enjoy dangerous outdoor hobbies and have a workable plan for surviving the apocalypse. You try to envision yourself sharing a meal with him, but the only scenarios you can come up with are all wildly embarrassing. Most of them seem to somehow involve you accidentally spilling an entire bowl of soup over your head, like you’re in a deeply fucked up shampoo commercial.
The soup thing probably means something weird about your psyche, but you decide that you already have enough to worry about.

I have no idea what this is called yet or when it’ll be posted, but I’ve written like 6k in the last month, so who knows. It’s kind of rom-com road trip but with smut.

Being an actor must be so wild because like imagine that you are at your job and you’re like “oh, hey, Denise, can we reschedule our 3pm project update? Todd reminded me that we have a checkin with the audit team and you know how they can run late” and then someone you’ve never seen before in your life is like “tell me you and Denise are feuding without telling me you’re feuding. Literally why would anyone reschedule a meeting if they’re not trying to hide the fact that they’re actually a Zionist” and another person who you’ve also never met turns to that person and is like “you Todd apologists will really run with anything to stir up the drama huh” and then a third person was like “she hinted at this in her last Instagram post, but you all said we were making things up 🙄 ” and the Instagram post in question was a photo of your breakfast from three days ago and there are a bunch of comments about how your picture is “so Denise-coded” because Denise once said she loves waffles (the picture you posted was of pancakes, but that’s clearly a metaphor for waffles and Denise). It must be like being followed by a Greek chorus that doesn’t understand context

quarterly reminder that if i reblog something ai-generated it is 110% and always an accident and for the love of god please tell me so i can delete it from my blog
