I uh… I genuinely do not know. I usually just use tags as sort of extra thoughts and explanations. So there’s not a lot of rhyme and reason behind them lmao

I would! But I reserve the right to say no for any and all reasons I decide. This is my free time, after all. I choose what to do with it. But I do always love hearing thoughts and ideas from other people!

Coffee. But I like my coffee to taste like chocolate more than coffee lmao

Honestly? Geo Stelar from the Mega Man Star Force series. He is 12, clinically depressed, and has to put up with so much malarkey. Let the boy REST.

5. What’s something you learned while researching a fic?
Honestly? I learned about my most favorite river ever. The Strid. You fall in, there is almost 0 chance you’ll ever be seen again. It’s honestly fascinating.

Oooooooh goodness lemme think… um… I think a Weil Wins au is one of the worst things I’ve come up with. Very very angsty.

Brother, I am stuck between X and Brook. These two get put in the torture nexus the most in all my writing. X does not deserve it, no, but something about him…

What's your favorite book and why?
Ooooooh that’s a tough one…
I loved Eragon, mostly for the bragging rights of being able to say I read it in less than a week xD
But also dragons are TOP TIER
Havenfable was a fascinating series, but I don’t see it mentioned often.
I grew up on Warrior Cats, and of those I think I read Bluestar’s Prophecy the most.

1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

To be honest, it was mostly just thinking about “what if”. What IF Weil was busted before corrupting the Mother Elf? What IF Zero found Omega before he became the murderous psychopath of the Elf Wars? What IF he then proceeded to adopt the reploid AI made from his code?

Im pretty run and gun when it comes to fic writing. I uh… don’t really draft. Whatever I write is what goes out. I try to look for mistakes, but ya know. I’m just kinda here lol.

Tbh, I think Alia fell first. And then X fell harder after realizing all that she does for him. All the little things.

Uuuuh… this one is actually kind of difficult, because there’s a good chance neither of them exactly remember their activation dates. Maybe X does, but Alia maybe wouldn’t? It’s hard to say.
But regardless, they probably just have a nice dinner together. I don’t think reploids are quite as sentimental about their own “birthdays” because they do just have such long life cycles if not killed by outside forces. Though they absolutely will indulge humans who get close to them.

I think they’d probably be tripping over each other trying to apologize first. Or at the same time. It’d be kind of funny lmao

Honestly? I can see these two loving the sunrises. Another reminder they made it another day when wars could possibly break out at any time.

I imagine Axl tries to set up some elaborate, stereotypical big shindig, just for it to sort of blow up in his face, Pallette to give him a fond, but exasperated look, and demanding he put the ring on her finger already.
I’m gonna be completely honest.
I really do think Eurasia falling in MMX5 changed reploid-human dynamics.
And more so in a positive way.
Like yeah, Sigma being the one to drop the artificial, space continent wasn’t a good look, but who was there picking up the pieces? Who was there cleaning up the mess? Who was there helping to make sure sickness, starvation, and more Mavericks didn’t decimate the remainder of human civilization? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. There was absolutely no way in heck that a vast majority of humans survived Eurasia’s fall if it polluted the earth enough for everyone on the planet to go underground to survive it. Nor would there be prebuilt underground structures. (Look at Armored Armadillo and all the digging mechaniloids and reploids he commandeered. That’s going to easily get through any sort of underground bunker.) And even if there WERE, there wouldn’t be one big enough for an entire country’s population to fit in. Probably not even big enough for a city’s population to fit in.
We just don’t have those even today with all the natural disasters we face.
So yeah. The initial fallout killed a bunch of people. Then roaming gangs of Mavs probably killed a bunch of people. Sickness probably took a good amount just on the basis of “humans aren’t meant to live underground.” By the end of it, there were probably only five hundred million people left. And that’s just an extremely rough estimate based on how many cave systems and how many people they MIGHT fit.
And that alone would change any dynamic.
Because, again, who is it that’s going to be trying to get everything right and protect those now trapped like rabbits in a hole? Reploids. Mostly Hunters, but I doubt civilian reploids just say back and watched.
And people would notice that.
And let’s also remember that in MMZ, we meet Andrew.
Andrew, who had a /human wife./
That is /huge./
I don’t remember if it’s ever stated whether they married before the Elf Wars, or in the early days of Neo Arcadia, but the fact of the matter is that X GOT WHAT HE WANTED. Or at least, pretty gosh dang close. And that’s part of what makes Andrew so tragic.
Not his story in of itself, he’s actually one of the BRIGHTER spots of MMZ’s story.
But the fact that we know that X got what he wanted and couldn’t even enjoy it.
Either because Weil messed it up to heck and back. Or because he was so apathetic afterwards, it didn’t feel worth it. (Or a mix of both.)
But anyways, yeah. I genuinely believe MMX5 was a turning point. It didn’t happen all at once, of course. But it was there…

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?
Tbh? Putting the guy used to punching his problems into any series where people use other things to solve problems would be HILARIOUS. Put him in Pokemon. Tell him he’s not allowed to punch anyone in the face, that’s what these little critters are for.
He’d go insane.
9. Could you be roommates with this character?
Uh… I don’t see why not. He’s pretty chill, albeit chaotic, provided you don’t make fun of his height xD
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
This is a hard one because I don’t think about this series as much as I do Mega Man xD
But if I had to choose something, I’d like to think that he chose to wear red for his signature coat because that was his mom’s favorite color… (Note, Trisha does not have a stated favorite color anywhere in canon.)

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
His design is pretty cool. I actually don’t hate MMZ design either. It makes sense that as technology improves, the reploids that have saved humanity the MOST would be upgraded to stay in the game. People are scared of change, so they wouldn’t want to loose X or Zero to something as simple as entropy. (People put too much importance on both of them, which is what leads to Copy X being able to do what he did…)
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
I am actually a really big fan of his hair having a purpose beyond just “looks cool” xD
Two things I like doing are making it sort of a counter weight given how bad his posture is in some games and exterior sensors, making it impossible to sneak up on him. (Think cat whiskers, but on steroids lol)
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
I’ve always thought he was really cool.
But, I’ve kind of come to see him a bit more gray. NOT THAT THATS A BAD THING. He’s called an anti-hero in MMZ and there’s a reason for that.
Like I’ll be honest, I don’t think in the MMX series, Zero particularly cares at *all* about humans. I mean think about it. This guy woke up essentially as a newborn reploid and IMMEDIATELY gets a gun held to his head and told that because he attacked Sigma and his men, he either needs to join the Hunters, or get scrapped.
For a crime he doesn’t even remember doing.
And then literally every hardship he faces afterwards is because humans need protection.
Quite honestly, it’s only X and HIS moral compass as well as Zero’s own sense of justice that he doesn’t just go rouge. That and his sense of individuality.
He’s absolutely the kind of guy to refuse to do anything someone tells him unless absolutely necessary lolololol

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?
I love Axl’s brotherly relationship with Zero and X. They’re a closeknit group, and he kind of acts as a balance to both of them. All while being comedic relief without being overly annoying. (It’s always nice when you have a character that knows when to tone the humor down.)
24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?
Um… that’s a hard one xD
I know the tropes he follows, but I am really bad at relating one character to another xD
26. What's something the character has done you can't get over? Be it something funny, bad, good, serious, whatever?
Two things.
The fact that this guy, who supposedly is a spy, in Command Mission sits there and goes “Hi! I’m Axl!” EVERY TIME YOU SWITCH HIM INTO BATTLE. ITS HILARIOUS. LIKE MY GUY WHY ARE YOU GIVING THEM YOUR NAME?!?!?!?!
And also him calling Zero stupid when he’s running away from that one mechaniloid at the start of X7 lol
Man may look up to Zero, but he’ll be danged if he don’t call it like he sees it.
