I think it could be fun to do, like, a “Snippet September,” where people send prompts to you throughout the month, and you choose at least one a day write a super short piece with by the end of that day. Or week. Or month. Whatever you can manage.

I’m imagining, like, one to three-word prompts. Vague stuff, so people can really play around with it. And the snippet could be as short as one sentence, or as long as…I’m kind of scared to ask how many words some people can manage in a day. But the main point is to have fun.

Ya know what I should kidnap a princess it's been awhile since I've done something fun for myself

Okay so it's been a few months since I kidnapped the princess and uh. No one has come to try to rescue her yet. Like at all. I sent a spy to the kingdom and they just don't care. Like they know she's gone and they're not bothering. She's been crying for a few days straight now. Idk what I'm supposed to do here.

An update on the princess. She kinda broke and was very... hollow for a bit there. It took some time to get her interested in learning magic but she eventually came around to it. I'm trying to goad her into reaping bloody vengeance on the family that abandoned her but she's just been really focused on her studies. Maybe once she's more capable, she is still a beginner after all.

It's been a couple of months and the princess' progess on her magical studies is absolutely *stellar* I swear this kid is a generational prodigy she's already bent a Cambion to her will and is casting higher level necromancy and evocation spells. She's such a good apprentice. Is this what it's like to be a proud dad? I'm buying her a gift. Teenage girls enjoy tomes full of dark rituals and such, yeah?

New fish! She's a Finifenmaa Fairy Wrasse (Thanks @bruggle !) which I didn't mention on the sheet. Alia's special ability is likely the ability to make people listen to her, a bit like a siren, which helps her get her point in during many a scientific debate. (Note; her hair is short, but only after the falling out with Gate. Wonder what that's about...)

just saw a pigeon doing the puffed up courtship dance thing to another pigeon, and as he was strutting around he suddenly stopped for a split second to do a very brief preen-peck at his own side, then returned to the strutting around. and i surprised myself by instantly losing respect for the male pigeon in that moment, like come on man i appreciate you had an itch or whatever but how is she supposed to feel special when you're getting distracted by bullshit like that? which on reflection i don't endorse, i mean those are pretty harsh dating norms i'm imposing on these pigeons, from a total outsider perspective, for no reason. probably not all girl pigeons are as uptight about that sort of thing as i would apparently be if i was a girl pigeon, maybe she even found it endearing who knows, i don't know her. it's none of my business really. sorry pigeons.
