A gathering of Ears With Feet to share thoughts and stories (as well as news, gossip, links, etc.) pertaining to Tori Amos.
COMMUNITY RULES OF CONDUCT
1) Most importantly, this is a community of respect and understanding. Disrespect of any members, group of members or moderators is not appropriate. Insults of members, groups of members, a general disrespect for other members as seen by those in charge will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with a decision that has been made concerning something you have said either in a post or in a comment, take it up with one of the community moderators via e-mail and NOT in a community entry.
2) Issues with other members of the community should be brought to the attention of the community moderators using the contact information stated below. Posts that simply deal with other community members are not appropriate. If the moderators cannot help with these issues, then contact lj-abuse (find out more here).
3) If there is a severe problem with a particular post or comment we reserve the right to delete without a warning, but for the most part we will issue a warning that a post is under review. If there has been a mistake with your entry, this will give you time to modify it so that it will be more appropriate and therefore not deleted.
4) All posts in
toriamos MUST be on topic. Anything Tori Amos/ RAINN or other things relating to her are fine as long as they follow the above guidelines. Some slightly off subject material such as Tori’s peers, etc, will be allowed as the moderators see fit.
5) This is not an icon community. If you are looking for a showcase for your Tori Amos icons, you should jointoricons. It is not forbidden to post icons in this community, we simply ask that you put them behind lj-cut (find out how...) and only leave one or two visible as teasers.
6) Quiz results and memes under no circumstances should appear more than once, if at all. If you really want to share a Tori quiz you have discovered you may, but ALL proceeding quiz results MUST be posted as comments to the original post. If you post a result by mistake, it will be deleted without consultation.
7) You may post Tori related pictures, but they must be behind lj-cut (find out how...) if they are not relatively icon-sized. This also applies to friends only banners.
8) Promoting of other communities will be allowed, as long as they are Tori related and follow the other community use guidelines.
9) Absolutely no spamming in posts or comments.

A few new rules are being added in the face of the recent trolling and spamming epidemic.
- Any entry that disallows comments we will automatically delete. This is a community, which mean it is a place of interaction and discussion. If you don't want to deal with responses then don't post it here.
- Any automatically playing videos or sound bites that are not behind an lj-cut we will delete. These, especially in large quantities, have the ability to crash browsers and computers and this is not fair to anyone.
- And for NOW, if we feel you are a spammer we will revoke posting access until we receive e-mail confirmation from you that you are not, but any further questionable activity in the community will result in banning.
If there are any questions, problems, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Requests made in mature and responsible ways, without bullying and drama are taken into account more readily.
