Loud music? That's interesting. I find cons don't have enough of this. Or non-filk in general. There's the typical Saturday dance, but people boo if anything new is introduced, and room parties…

Anyone complaining about availability of hotels in San Diego is a baby and a whiner. Also, they've never been to a real convention of any type and tried to get a room.

It's worse than that. They've driven hotel and convention center construction, and now the hotels and convention center are turning on them to squeeze out even more profit.
