I think someone here might be able to help me with this one.
I'm looking for reputable Quaker Parrot breeders in the area. I'm willing to drive but no more than ten hours round trip! I know that PetCrap sells them but I want to support the locals.
p.s. Behold the cuteness of my hedgehog in ze user icon.
p.p.s. NEVER buy an animal from Petco. I worked at the vet clinic that the Tchopitoulas location sent theirs to.

Hello, and welcome to The Wild Side community!
I created this community to address any requests, questions, queries, comments, concerns, (I'm running out of nouns here) that you may have, in regards to the store and services.
Right off the bat, I want to mention the post I made previously in the nola community, in which many expressed interest in having cat litter delivered to them. I would very much like to do that, and I need your input on preferred types and brands you may want. Also, in my research I have discovered a degradable litter made of 100% compressed, high fiber wheat straw pellets, which is a more natural litter option, with no dyes or perfumes. Would anyone be interested in this? It comes in 20 lb bags. I don't have a price on it yet, but I'm looking into it.
I also met with a representative today from Old Mother Hubbard pet foods. They sell a great line of all natural, human grade dog and cat food products. These products contain no meat by-products, or rendered fats. I will be stocking them in the store, though I'm not sure if they will be available for delivery until just before the store is open.
Any thoughts?
