I wanted to share some really important, exciting news with all my friends out there. I assumed a couple weeks ago, but didn't want to say anything until I knew for certain.
We're having a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooooo excited!! This also means I get to use creative juices to turn the exercise room into a nursery!! Yay for creativity! and yay for other stuff too XD

After much musing over my earlier post, I've decided that I really have changed a lot since I was a freshman in college. I don't know that my writing style has changed all that much, but I sure have done a lot of growing, with new experiences to create a better person -- and maybe give me a new perspective and some fresh things about which to write. I'm sure I can crank out something new and exciting! After all, I'd suppose that marriage and buying a house in just a year can change a person. And those are just the little things. ;)
In any case, I'm looking forward to our upcoming forray into Hotlanta (OMG. I can't believe I said that). However, I'm sure that equally exciting will be our overnight visit with a certain person with a certain flare for young women in a certain part of Knoxville, Tennessee. Yeeeeeeehaw!
If you have a student who has been attending your undergraduate school for 4 years (meaning they already paid the application fee once), graduate programs at that same school should waive that student's application fee.
They would have more students applying for their programs directly from their school (which you'd think would be attractive) plus the student will win.
It kinda sucks to be doing this again. Can't I just use the same essay? Have I really grown *that* much?

That's right. I've reverted back to our high school days. Only now I get $10/hr (probation pay -- goes up in 30 days) for it! Sure as fuck beats a free AOL account...
Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to do this for a living. Get an MEd and open my own program...

So I'm taking all of my finals Wednesday morning... I'll be really glad this semester is coming to an end. I do not feel even remotely nostalgic about all that I have accomplished... I'm just looking forward to a break.
Have I mentioned we're going to Hawaii next week!? 9 days over Christmas... getting back New Years' Day. Woot for vacations! We're going to be staying on Kauai... anyone have recommendations for us?
