Well, the Bar is back. :)  Rodney and Radek were cooperating with my muse quite nicely after a few comments leaper182 happened to make--and, so, this tale resulted.

Hey, all, back with another segment of The Bar AU.  Pull up a stool, have John pour you a drink; it's date night.  Yes, I finally got around to writing Rodney and Radek's first date.  Consider it retroactive, as it takes place right after "The Bar" (the intro story) but before any of the others.  No need to read The Bar first, though author's pride makes me encourage it.  Just remember, it's AU, and you can find the info on the set-up in the intro post or on the comm info page.  That said...bring on the fic.

Title: We've Only Just Begun

 nickespix gave me an absolutely awesome muffin recipe with hillarious SGA-themed instructions.  My mind, being what it is, immediately had Rodney baking the damned things.  I tried them, but due to some personal preferences, altered the basic recipe and Rodney's commentary got to me…so, hence, the original "McBeck muffin" recipe, vs. 2.0  … the "Yes, Rodney Can Too Bake, Dammit" muffins.  Set in the Bar AU, cause that's where I could pull it off.
