Title: Masking Life
Summary: Pansy’s fit into Slytherin wasn’t always easy
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Pansy Parkinson, Severus Snape, Millicent Bullstrode, Draco Malfoy, Various others mentioned
Warnings/Author’s Notes: Character death (as in canon). The prompter asked for a story with exactly 1200 words. Other than the title and section breaks, MS word counts this at 1200. As well as sticking to the word count, each section is a multiple of 100. It was a fun challenge to write under such strict guidelines. I do hope angelmischa likes what I’ve done with this!
Prompter’s name and Original Prompt: angelmischa. Pansy initially struggled after being sorted into Slytherin. Why? How and why did Millicent or Snape help her? How did that affect their long-term relationship? What happens as Pansy (or both Millicent and Pansy) grow up? How does the relationship change and develop into a romantic one? I think that a word limit is a real challenge as an author. Personally, I think 1,200 words is a good length to set. This can be either 1,200 words in a block, 12 x 100 word drabbles, 6 x 200 words, however you like, but 1,200 words exactly.

Given the results of the earlier poll, there will now be updates every Sunday on the fics that have been posted.
