Hello I'm new here:) I'd like to start with a question and all help would be kindly appreciated: I got myself a beautiful deck of the Minchiate Florentine "Al Leone" Tarot deck, but it came without a guide book... I was trying to search for useful information about this deck, or books, but couldn't find anything that could help me. Can anyone recommend me a related book or a website about this deck? I'd love to learn because this deck isn't a usual Tarot deck with its 97 cards... Thank you!
Monday night, I was doing a Tarot reading for my mom as we have had a death in the family and we know everything has and will change. We wanted to know what the cards had to say, so I did a general reading. I just did a basic Celtic cross. However this reading caught my interest when I saw the cards. Whenever there was a Wand, there was a Sword to match it: 5’s, 6’s, and Aces. I have a feeling that matching Swords and Wands mean something, but I am not sure what. . . Could some please tell what they could mean?
No, seriously. I've just produced a new video that shows how to use Konxari Cards to communicate with those on the other side. This may sound complicated, but this user-friendly video will show you all you need to know in less than 5 minutes!
The video below will have you solving your poltergeist problems in no time flat. Whether you're eager to ghost hunt, or contact a loved one long-gone, here you'll learn the simple steps to utilize the Konxari, quick and easy.

I just bought a tarot deck, finally after lots of decision making, and I'm confused. Does anyone know where I might find the meanings of the wands, trumps, disks, cups, ECT? If there's a web sight where I can just look at everything, that would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
I've been reading tarot since I was 13, it's been a family tradition on my dad's side, my grandmother learned from her mother and then taught her three children. One of which being my father, who gave me my first book on it and then had my grandmother teach me. So I like to think I'm pretty accurate, most of the people I read for tell me I'm dead on and sometimes my friends laugh when they see the cards because they know I've pin pointed the problem.
So I got a friend of mine involved in it and she's VERY ACCURATE. She did a slew of readings for me a while back and the King of swords popped up in my "this is before me" in at least three and once in my "hopes and fears". I assumed the King of swords was this guy I had developed interest for, he had all the right characteristics. In the last reading, The King of Swords popped up in the "hopes and fears" while the two of cups was in the "this is before me" and the Lovers popped up in "Final outcome". The Moon was the card that covered me. At first I thought it was the same guy but as I studied the cards with my grandmother and talked to her about the man, she told me to think more clearly for a few days and I'd have my answer.
I thought about it and the King of swords or the Knight of Swords more represents my former boyfriend. My former boyfriend was a very warrior looking dark haired, hazel/brownish eyed man with a very warrior like personality (this was more pronounced when he was intoxicated, he'd always try to pick a fight with someone he thought was disrespecting him or me or a friend). I know the Moon represents Illusion in some cases and I figured that's what it meant in my reading. My former warrior left me because of something that happened between me and another man three years prior (My former beau only knew me for three months), and he promised me many things. I figured the two of cups meant us meeting each other again somewhere on good terms, maybe with our friends. I'd always hoped he'd come back, hence his personal card in that space. The lovers is the card that scares me the most. I'm not sure what to think about it, the other cards really represented money and travel and success.
If anyone can give me some advice/opinion on my reading that'd be awesome.
I did my first Tarot reading tonight with a little of Susie's help. As many of my friends know, I had a falling out with Danielle(best friend of 14 years). A few nights ago, I had a nightmare and I remembered the key details to it. I know that the dreams/nightmares you remember most are the ones that mean something. There was a message.
I was talking to Susie about it and we were only able to pinpoint I was afraid of something. But we couldnt quite figure out what it was and where the rape scene fit in. So I suggested we consult her tarot cards but since her cards weren't downstairs, I suggested mine long as she helps me since this would be my first reading. We used This set-up for the reading(the celtic cross).
After this reading, I felt relieved somehow. Knowing what was going wrong, what the nightmare was trying to tell me, and knowing what I must do to solve the issue currently. This first reading was the very first step into finally bonding with my cards and I know when I do leave for the airline academy, I will take them with me(as well as a little figure of bast too). And now I cant help but smile.
Now a question, other than your thoughts on this, what was your first reading like and/or what was the first steps you took to bond with your first deck of tarot cards?
HI im new and I have a question. I have been doing tarot readings for about a year. I have found my self in a situation where I did a reading for my self, I just did a random card pull to get an idea of the situation. I was using the Lovers Path Tarot deck and pulled the desire card on saturday night. Last night I did another random pull for the same situation since things had changed since Saturday night and I pulled the same card. I have taken that to mean that even though the situation changed a little bit the outcome is going to stay the same? is that a pretty good conclusion or do I need to look deeper into it?
So the other day I was listening to my new iPod shuffle (Valentine's day gift) and rockin' out to Light & Day by the Polyphonic Spree. Download this song if you've never heard it! It was in the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The band is so happy and up, I adore them. I was thinking about how well the song exemplified the energy put forth by the Sun card. That train of thought led to, what if I could assign a song to every trump card, create a playlist with it, and "shuffle" the songs, just like cards, to come up with the appropriate Trump? The idea makes me happy. :-)
So what do you think? Sounds like fun, eh? What songs would you assign to the various trump cards? (They have to match in both sound and lyrics.) So far Light & Day is the only one I have. As people comment/I come up with more, I will add to the list.
The Fool -- "Bigger than my Body" by John Mayer; "Kill Yourself" by Bjork The Magus -- "The Magician" by Bruce Dickinson The High Priestess -- The Empress -- The Emperor -- "One Man Guy" by Rufus Wainright The Hierophant -- The Lovers -- "Accidentally in Love" by Counting Crows The Chariot -- "Closing Time" by Semisonic Adjustment -- The Hermit -- "Possession" by Sarah McLaughlin Fortune -- "Way to Mandalay" by Blackmore's Night; "Circle of Life" by Elton John; "To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)" by The Byrds Lust (Strength) -- The Hanged Man -- Death -- Art -- The Devil -- "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC The Tower -- "The Tower" by Bruce Dickinson The Star -- "May It Be" by Enya The Moon -- "Brain Damage (Dark Side of the Moon)" by Pink Floyd The Sun -- "Light & Day" by The Polyphonic Spree The Aeon -- The Universe -- "Across the Universe" by The Beatles
BTW -- I use the Thoth deck, so I recognize that the names aren't completely "standard." I hope to get some great responses from people with more extensive music libraries than mine! Also, don't be afraid to name a song for a card that already has one.
Hey tarot readers! If you want more practice at reading, you can join the Free Tarot Network and do one card readings for folks. I am on there because I really like doing in-depth one card reads. I often will use one of my new decks for this so that I can learn that new deck better.
Pros for me are having a steady influx of querents and sometimes getting larger readings (as in paid readings) from them. That's a bit rare though. You also get a mentor who will be there to assist you in your first readings (each mentor varies in how long they work with you.) And you can become a mentor as well and share your own knowledge with others.
Cons are the questions are sometimes really repetitive. Does he love me? Should I marry him?
You can expect lots of relationship questions for sure!
The FTN is run by the American Tarot Association. I'm the president of the Board. I'd love to see more folks take advantage of this.
