Welcome to my corner of the net. This journal will be mainly about this journey I call my life, happenings of the day, and what ponderings I feel like sharing. I talk about those who have chosen to share this journal with me; my friends, and my current partner, arinoch AKA James. Currently, I am 32 years of age, living on my own. I have a customer service job, but am on an almost frantic quest to find my life purpose. I am also a part time student at the Onondaga School of Theraputic Massage. I am taking an eighteen month evening program to get my certificate in Massage therapy. I currently am a member of the local unitarian universalist church, but not very active at the moment. Most of this journal will be friends only, but if you add me, and I find that you're not a psycho or trying to sell me something, I'll most likely add you back.
Things I've learned on this journey so far: 1. If you yank on a bandade real fast, it doesn't hurt as much as pulling it off slowly, You don't have to spend ten years in college just to be smart. If they want to go, let them go, and if they don't come back to you, they weren't yours in the first place. When one door closes, one always opens. Kitty-cats don't like to swim. Corn beef and Cabbage is not an Irish meal. Just because he has female friends doesn't mean he's cheating. Not everybody is going to like everybody. If they hate you, it's only because you're pieces of them they're trying to deny. God wouldn't put you through a struggle he knew you couldn't handle. "living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking. Loving might be a mistake, but it's worth making." (quoted from Leanne Walmack's "I Hope You Dance.") There's more than one way to warship the creator. Take it slow. If he truely cares, he won't go anywhere. We can't fight for everything. There are times we have to pic our battles We have to be happy with ourselves, before we can be happy with someone else. We can't please everyone. Hope springs eternal.
