Looking for a new fitness program? How about trying the Presidential Fitness Challenge. This challenge comes in three varieties:

1. The Active Lifestyle Program - For those of you who aren't active on a daily basis yet, this is a great way to begin. The rules are basically to get a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week, for a total of 6 weeks.

2. The Presidential Champions Program - If you're already active and want a new challenge, this program is for you. Your goal is to see how many points you can earn by staying active. Points are based on the amount of energy each activity burns. So the more active you are, the more points you'll get. When you reach 20,000 points, you'll earn a Bronze award. Then you can continue on in the Presidential Champions program for a Silver or Gold award.

3. The Advanced Performance Presidential Champions Program - This is basically the same system as the Presidential Champions Program, except that the award goals are higher. For instance, you need to get 40,000 points to earn a Bronze award.

The Presidential Champions Fitness Program Website (where you can log your progress and also order your awards when you've reached your goal)

Also, if you want, come join the LJ pres_challenge community to chat with others who are challenging themselves with this program.

Hello everyone,

I just started a new Tae Bo Online Suuport Group communtiy at http://www.livejournal.com/communi… /. To learn more about it you can go to http://www.livejournal.com/userinf… _support and read the community info.

For those of you who aren't familiar with LiveJournal, it's a really easy and fun way to interact with people, similar to a message board.

If you don't have a LiveJournal account and want one so you can join the community, you can easily and quickly get one at https://www.livejournal.com/create….

You can join the community by going to http://www.livejournal.com/userinf… _support and clicking the "click here" link at the top.

If you don't want to create a livejournal account but still want to check out the community here and there, that's fine too. You can read all the posts being made and comment on the entries as well. The only thing you can't to is join and post.}

Hope to see you there!

Just to let you all know...

Hello to all. My name is Jackie and I'm 20 years old. I've just recently gotten into TaeBo and I love it. To make a long story short, I just created another community taebo_bootcamp for all of us TaeBo lovers only! Especially whoever has tried the BootCamp series, which are amazing! Very much like this community for all to share stories and experiences. I am very interested in seeing the progress of other people in using Billy's workouts and how successful it has been. Also, I'm not trying to promote in a way of being rude, but I figure that since this is also a TaeBo community that the other might also be a nice addition to this one. Besides, I'm the only member right now :-P Up to you guys! Take Care!

I did it!

it was a struggle, but today I finally finished all 55 minutes of the advanced tae-bo tape from 1998! I've been slowly working my way through it since november, and it feels GREAT to know what the end is like after such hard work. YES.

this community seems sort of dead, but I just wanted to introduce myself...

my name is katie, and I've been dabbling in tae-bo since I bought the video set in 1998. I picked it up again about a year ago after a lapse in working out for a long time, and of course it has helped me get back into shape. I had never tried the "advanced" tape before this past fall, and its still kicking my ass.. I can get through about 20 minutes of it then I switch to something else. its a new goal though, to make it through it a bit longer. after all, I never thought I'd get the "basic" tape down when I first started, and now it seems like a breeze!

anyhow, hello. :)
