stayed home today.. *s* didn't sleep all to well last night because of the congestion. SO when i was able to finaly go to sleep, i slept in PAST alarm. Oops.
hard to believe one week till Christmas? Yikes! Still have to get my parents something... was thinking gift card for a grocery store (ok... i know that doesn't sound good bt they like those kind of things... espcially right now). or sheets for their bed (ok something i gathered after over hearing a conversation between my mom and grandma).
Got Dan's gift. Funny thing.. he knows what it is *s* he had to try them on... boots. but he wants me to wrap them up for him still. Thinking of getting him something else tho... maybe a cheap game or something. Dont know. We do have a budget this year.
Oh but today we were putting together the changing table. Y es i know it seems early..*L* but since its a dresser/changing table.. *L* figured i could use the dresser part. I have a few things i need to start putting away and running out of room and boxes. Going to work on some blankets here shortly. I am crochetting one but these im workign on need to be sewen together. Just need to get them pinned. There will be 3 i think... *L* they are cute.
Went to my grandpa's party last night. I know iwasn't going to go... but ended up getting guilted in. SO dan and i went and not going to stay long. We did get a gift card for Red Lobster from them *S*S* Yumm! I gave them our gift. And i have to say last night was a decent night. I think its because those that caused trouble through out the week, were so drunk they were nice to us *L* i know that sounds bad *s* but hey, it was my aunt.
Grandpa was talking to us about the baby room. So we told him to come up and see it sometime.. and after that my stepdad jumped up and very excitedly stated, "Oh yes and i got to work on my granddaughters room. Got to prime.. paint... and paint more..." *L* my mom busted out laughing.. wondering if he was drunk or just happy *LOL*
Had a long conversation at dinner with Nancy... Diannes Neice. It was nice.. *S* we talked about traveling all over... speaking german (her and dan were able to converse some)... and the baby. Shes a "new grandma" and has really enjoyed it. Caught up with her daughters who are just sweet hearts. Met the one daughters husband (recently married... the one that had the baby) and she was talking to me about her labor.. she said to keep focuased... Keep deep breathing... stay with gravity and it wont be to bad. They said she was hardly in any pain at all!!! She had discomfort but really no pain. She refuse to lay down... kept either sittig up, walking around... or on a ball. I mentioned that im reading the book Hypnobirthing and she smiled and said that a friend of hers got her that book as well. She really liked it.
Anyways for those that know my background with my grandpa.. knows that last night was a touchy night normally, but for the first time, i felt relaxed... comfortable.. and welcomed! *s* Even dan felt the same. HE talked to us, and it was more then just hi and walks off before saying or hearing anything. He even hugged us when we left... and i KNOW he wasn't drinking (he had eye surgery tuesday) so who knows *s* he is very excited about the baby.
well thats about it for me... i have one more post but figured this one was long enough *L*

My friends daughter (the runaway)
She emailed me to let me know her daughter as found Incapable to stand trial for now. She is having to under go a few things before she can stand trial. I worried about my friend, their first son they adopted (who was older) is in a Juvie Jail for drugs... and sexual contact of a minor... and now this. *sighs*
dont oknow how she does it. But seriously, they were hoping that she would have been home for Christmas, at least for a day (leave) but they said no.. shes going to have to undergo treatment and lots of counsling. She said she doesn't know the situation but its like she is really living in another world. Shes not making it up either.. she is believing eveyrthing.
oh well *sighs*
anyways carpet comes in tomorrow, Christmas Cards go out tomorrow (i hope)... no letter this year like i had hoped.. *Pouts* and im bad... one of my dear friends living in the UK.. her stuff is going to be late. I hven't even begun to make stuff for her yet.. i got a card in the mail from her today... and im sooo behind!! How do people do it??? I mean seriously how do htey get thigns out before the holiday??? *s* oh well.
Going to call my friend Sarah tomorrow evening and Nikki sometime tomorrow.. need to find out when she will be coming in town for the holiday *s* she is the one thats due 10days after me.
and what is up with LJ??? I am either getting database errors... or having issues posting *grumbles*

well im at the hospital... waiting room (surgery). family emergency.. my brother is having pins being put in his left leg.. so in the waiting room right now with the family, watching my nephew.

RS birthday party
WE had that on Enrichment night. Took grandma with me and she had a blast. Someone from the ward made a video to music of pictures from the RS women... it looked great. Not to mention they burned DVD's for everyone. Everything turned out so wonderful! Even my grandma learned alot, it turned out to be a great missionary experience for her i think.. *S*
not much to say right now, lots to do in a short time. im exhausted *L* But need to get a few things of laundry done... *S* i know its a day to rest but my Raspberry Ice drink spilled and landed on a folded pile of a few htings... luckly it wont stain... *S* got them soaking right now.
thinking of having a yard sale next month.. way to much stuff here.. *S* need to get rid of over half of it.

couldn't find any either. dang PMS.
what was funny saw the foot dr today, they had to take foot xrays... found out i had burrsitis (sp) in my left foot but the nurse was trying to find a way of asking me if i was "pregnant" in front of my grandma *L* so she sticks her hands out in front of her stomach. it was cute cause the dr walked by her and looked and asked if she was ok.. *L* told her i knew for a fact since im PMSing *LOL* will say it was good for a laugh.
my foot is taped up right now, i go back in the morning to get my insoles looked at. Its not bad for surgery but he is thinking of doing a Cortisone shot later down the road. ewwww
anyways i better get to sleep, i have to get up early (5:30 to be exact) Stace is bringing by both her daughters for me to babysit. Good thing i dont work to long tomorrow... im going to be exhausted.
