This is a community for those people who are in relationships with people who have children. Whether you are a stepparent or the significant other [SO] of someone with children, come and share your experiences!!

Common Abbreviations

BM= biological mother BF= biological father
CP= custodial parent NCP= noncustodial parent
OP= other parent
DH= dear husband DW= dear wife
DF= dear fiance/fiancee SO= significant other


What is a 'such'??
There are certain individuals who place a higher value on a ceremony or marriage license than the length or quality of a relationship [note: this view is not that of the community members or moderators]. To be expressly inclusive, we created a "such."
