In some of the most amazing and exciting news I have had about the ENTIRE World's Fair, one of the bands that inspired us in the first place is doing a rather splendidly spectacular record release...AT the event! AND...you can buy their album in advance and it'll await you right at the door - get it before ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD!! A small, intimate affair, to be held in the gardens of Campbell House, we shall have a goodly host of artisans, designers and artists with wares for sale,as well as an afternoon of lively entertainment on the front steps of the House. Come and shop, be entertained, or simply be amongst your own under the trees in the lemonade garden... a grand time is guaranteed for all!

World's Fair vending, and our New York City event

Dear friends,

Steampunk World's Fair vending 2012 will open on December 6th at noon and be open for two weeks. Be ready!

For those of you who aren't too far from New York City, our whimsical Steampunk event, The Anachronism, is this Sunday:

Fantastic entertainment! Super friendly and welcoming event! Open to all! Only $15! 3 p.m. to midnight! Also contains free admission to Webster Hall's Quarterly Arts Soiree - a $15 value!

More Hotel info

From our fearless leader (Whose ear hurts so be kind to the baby)

"Steampunk World's Fair-goers! Main Hotel #2, The Embassy Suites, home to many of our biggest and loveliest shows, now has rooms available! (Also, for those of you with adult interests, I will gently note that tomorrow is the last day to get tickets to The Geeky Kink Event at the discounted price.)"

This was the overflow hotel from two years ago and is gorgeous. So now you have a choice. Radisson is $99 a night while Embassy is $109 a night but with Embassy you get a suite, breakfast, and a managers reception each day. (I don't know what the manager's reception entails but on the site they mention a drink and nosh type of thing)
ONe thing to keep in mind that the Embassy is a no-party hotel. SO IF you want to party might as well stay at the Radisson but if you are old, like me, and last years hotel was just too loud at 3 am then stay at the Embassy.
