Why I'm here: AO3 is great for hosting fics but not so much for organisation. It's messy and it's everywhere and it hasn't been giving me joy these past few months, so... here I am. I'm also Overwhelmed™ by social media, micro-blogging sites included (yes, I'm talking about that hellsite), but the Internet is my forever-solace so it's not like I'll be unplugging anytime soon.
What you can expect around here: I post about the books I read. I also collect books, though that's a completely different hobby to reading altogether. Mostly, I'll be posting about fandom stuff: I'll live-blog reactions to TV shows if I'm feeling up to it, for example. There will be no personal stuff beyond what can be related to fandom and/or the books I read. I'm a word-y person. I write little and often. I'll also either post every day or there'll be weeks between updates (there is no middle ground here), but I'll try to be considerate of people's feeds by hiding long journal entries under a cut-tag.
Fandoms: I'm unabashedly multi-fandom but I've only listed a few on the Interests section below because some fandoms are more of a background buzz/creature comfort where I just lurk and read fic. I actively participate in the Young Royals and Alex Rider fandoms, however, with occasional check-ins on Bridgerton—the tv show, the spin-off, and (rarely) the books themselves.
Subscriptions: If I've subscribed to your journal, that's because you regularly post about one of my fandoms and/or any of my non-fandom interests. I also welcome subscriptions from others even if we haven't interacted in the past via other platforms. That being said, I'll most likely return the subscription (a follow back? to use social media terms) if we end up having some kind of meaningful conversation in the comments.
Access: The only thing I'm locking behind my Access List are posts related to fanfiction, e.g. 100-word drabbles, series collections, theme master lists, new fic snippets, stuff like that. You're welcome to "friend" me in that regard, but otherwise all my other posts will be open to the public. Message me/comment if you want to be granted access or you want to be removed from the list.

Do's and don'ts: Don't share any of my posts by "re-posting" it to another journal, don't link to any of my posts from outside of Dreamwidth, but do feel free to ask me anything by commenting on whichever sticky note I have in my journal, or indeed just to drop by and say 'hello' :)
