I Keep You With Me, Within My Beating Chest....

Hey guys! I just posted a link to the "Be Here Now" - The Andy Whitfield Story. Please check it out. I gave just what I could afford but imagine if every fan of the show (and Andy) gave a dollar? They'd reach their mark in no time.
I only became aware of Andy Whitfield when I started watching "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" and I quickly came to love the actor through the show and the man from his behind the scenes antics.
Andy Whitfield played the title role of Spartacus in the show, "Spartacus: Blood & Sand," and captured audiences with his amazing performance. When the 1st season ended and they were gearing up to season two, Andy was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. While he battled the cancer, STARZ (the channel which owns the "Spartacus" franchise) gave him the time needed to get healthy so he could come back for season 2 by filming a prequel to the Spartacus story. That level of commitment to an employee in today's business industry, especially in television, is amazing.
Just when Andy seemed to be doing better and was going to make it for season 2, the cancer came back. Andy, being the class act that he was, told STARZ that life still goes on and that they should cast his replacement while he continued his battle. Andy passed during the filming of "Spartacus: Vengeance" leaving behind a family, friends, and thousands of fans who fell in love with him through the show.
I know the hardship of losing a love one to cancer and I hope and pray for a cure for this ugly disease. I gave in the spirit of my Aunt Laurie and to remind myself, as Andy says, to "Be Here Now."
I'm sorry for the sappiness and the sad subject but I would really like to see the filmmakers get this project finished. Thanks for those who take the time to read and (if you'd like) feel free to comment.
Kisses! ^_~.*
