[personal profile] jona did this to me.

Go look at your blog/journal. Find the last Fandom-related thing you posted. The characters in that post are now your team-mates in the Zombie Apocalypse. How fucked are you?

Given the nature of this journal, you'd think the personnel question would be pretty straightforward, right?

YOU WOULD BE WRONG.

Little did I know that one small mention of The Coffee Prince would land me fighting the zombie apocalypse with a bunch of complete strangers who are currently best known to me for the interesting range of bodily secretions they share with the audience.

So I guess I'm pretty fucked.

But! It could be worse! It could be Akame! )

I made myself an icon for when I'm randomly tipsy. This is it. I'm randomly tipsy now because I have consumed a can of beer, two glasses of New Zealand pudding wine, and a large measure of Drambuie. The bottle in the icon is absinthe, but I don't have any of that. *izsad*

Shiny. :)

Here he is at last, our creepy!Death from Heidelberg. I quite like him. )

The weather is glorious today. I've spent far too much of the day indoors, marking assignments (why is life writing so full of cancer, marriage-breakups and dying grannies? Why doesn't anybody ever write about something fun?) and trying to get a character to behave. But I did sneak out into the garden occasionally with the excuse of having to hang up washing and let Yami chase her stick, and... well, this is one thing currently flowering in the garden. )

I don't do it much, partly because I don't like shopping anyway and am rarely in a place where there is stuff around for me to impulse-buy. But sometimes...

So the other day, I bought an umbrella. )

[personal profile] rheasilvia is offering her amazing handmade soaps for auction as part of the Help Brazil initiative. I've been a fortunate recipient of these soaps since the early experimental days and believe me when I say they are awesome. Go bid!

She's also offering German liquorice and gummi bears, which are also awesome and can be hard to get in other countries, but the soap is even more awesome. Of course, you could always try to get both.

On the less serious front, this totally cracked me up. A bizarre Japanese commercial, and it's genius remix. Worksafe, though your colleagues may give you funny looks as you giggle helplessly at the remixed version.
