The Fandom Snowflake Challenge

Multi-fandom rec sites are like catnip to me. Whenever I discovered a new fandom, back in the day, one of the first things I did was look for it on crack_van. I love reccing fanworks, too. Before crack_van closed, I posted recs for The X-Files, for Fringe, and for The X-Files RPF. One of the first communities I joined here on DW is fancake. Posting recs is a way of connecting with other fans that works for me.

Day 5

In your own space, post recs for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Whether you read fic or listen to it, watch vids or listen to fanmixes, love art or graphics or meta or adorable hand-knitted Supergirl dolls, everybody has favorites. Tell us about them, whether they're in rare fandoms or or megafandoms. Share the fanworks closest to your heart, whether they are made by under-appreciated artists and podficcers, or by famous vidders and BNF knitters. We want to know about the rarest of rare-pairings and the most popular, too. If you wanted, you could even pick a theme à la fancake. Here's the bottom line: if you love it and someone else made it, please share it!
