💥 Unique Feature — Destructible Tile Animations
A standout feature of this tileset is its generic destruction system:
-
Each core material type (wood, stone, trees, grass etc.l) has its own destruction animation.
- Any tile made of that material—walls, chairs, props, etc.—can be programatically paired with its matching destruction effect (scripts for this is not included).
-
This lets you easily add breakable objects, destructible environments, combat feedback, and more. Watch the video below to see an example of this in action.

Characters Included
This pack includes 7 fully animated characters with 8 directional movement, all created using my other asset “Character Creator Fantasy”:
Each Character has 24 different animations.

Hey, are the tiles compatible with Tiled? I've been trying to create a map but the tiles do not align properly. Also it says in the doc that the sprites dimensions is 128x256 for tiles, but the images are actually 256x256.
Thank you for pointing out the resolution, it was a typo. The tiles are indeed 256x256. Regarding "Tiled", the tiles are not specifically made to work with that tool so I'm not sure if they are compatible.
Hi! I own all of your asset packs, and for my game I'm also trying to create pre-rendered sprites from my own 3D models so they match your art style. Would you mind sharing the lighting setup you use in your rendering scene? I'd really appreciate it!
For tiles the camera is set to isometric and it's lit with a sun light coming from the right side. No other lights.
for characters?
characters are lit straight from above so the shadow lands under them, then a light without shadow caster is coming from the right.
Hey, this looks amazing. Is there any option with these tiles to show nights?
Thanks! No built in option, but you might be able to lower the brightness to receive that effect.
Thanks for the fast response! Cheers!
Probably could just do some filtering, I imagine some creative use of LUT would get a near effect! I've done that with some bright asset packs for a grimdark world.

I made a game using your asset! Hope you like it!
Where can I find background images with water-like environments similar to this one, since it's not included in the purchased file?
The water in the video is shader based, there are alot of tutorials out there for shader based 2D water so shouldn't be hard to find. If you are looking for sprite based animated water I'm not sure where to find one in this style.
Now I understand. Thank you so much.
Because I couldn't find the same tile set as in the image you created, and I couldn't find it anywhere else. It wasn't in the file you provided either.
But now I've managed to do it, and when combined with the shadows and waves in the image file, it fits perfectly.
Awesome!
I'd like to talk to you about how to properly adjust the tiles. I'm working with Godot and I'm having trouble creating tile map layers; I'm probably doing something wrong.
To be honest I've never tried Gadot so I can't give you any technical advice. But if you look at the latest comment in this asset you might get some good tips: https://smallscaleint.itch.io/zombie-rural-hd-isometric-tileset
Great to hear it worked. Sounds like a great idea 👍
Incredible, and really good, exceptional quality.
Thank you!
This is really good! Hope there are some UI packs as well!
Thank you! I don't have any but there are a lot of them out there.

Made a quick demo, really like this quality!
The fantasy sets look so good! I would love to see a cave setting
Thanks! Yeah that's a good idea for a future pack. While you wait for that, if you are feeling creative you can build "caves" using the cliff wall tiles as cave walls.
Thats a good idea! Thanks for the recommendation! I look forward to any future packs
Hello! Any news on a possible upcoming new Fantasy Set? Like new biomes, dungeons...
Large Desert/wasteland set is coming very, very soon.
Love you!
Any chance of a bundle deal for the fantasy assets? I love everything you make but funds are tight so I can't swing the full pack. But maybe like: 2D Fantasy Tileset, Character Creator Fantasy & Animals Mega Pack as a bundle? 😟
Its not something I have planned currently, but I like the idea! The fantasy assets will grow with more content soon so its for sure possible in the future.
Hi, there was an Itch.io error, and it looks like I have purchased 6 copies of your bundle. I tried purchasing them yesterday, but there was an error with itch, and now all of my attempts have gone through this morning. Are you able to refund 5 of them?
Hi lukasauris,
Please contact the itch support team regarding this. They handle all transactions/refunds and I have no control over it. but I'm sure it won't be an issue getting a refund.
Thanks, I have done that now. Fantastic assets btw
Thanks!
Hey, any chance we will get an indoor/dungeon/catacomb sort of packs?
You can build alot of it with the tiles that are alraedy there, but I agree with you that a dedicated dungeon asset would be great and i have it planned for a future pack.
If you have an asset you plan to release soon, could you tell us its type and the release date? Thank you.
Im not sure what the next pack will be yet. I've gotten some request for a orc faction package with orcs and goblins etc. so perhaps something along those lines for the fantasy series!
No way!!! When when when please I need it!!! And some flying enemies would be better!!!
+1 for me. Orcs/goblins/gnolls/kobolds all these humanoids fantasy monsters would be amazing and I would definitely prefer to see those rather than the indoor tiles :D
As mentioned in the video and also in the product text, the water is just a shader, so no tiles are used for the water. The shader is not included. You can find some ripple Effects however, as you already mentioned.
Thank you very much. Good luck with your project!
i love these assets but they're almost unusable in godot as is. could really use a sprite sheet here.
In the example scene, can player walk upstairs in a multi-floor building?
Hi. No they can not. There are no multi floor interiors in the example scene. I should also add that the example scene is not included when bought from Itch.
Hello !
Thank you its pretty awesome
Can you tell me how you did your trees windy in the video?
THANK's in advance 🔥
Thank you! That was done with a script making the trees deform/sway back and forth.
thanks that was my thinking
Good job
I want to say first off that I absolutely love your work and am so excited to use this in my upcoming project.
Do you have height maps/depth maps for these assets? I am working on a 2.5D game and I'm planning on using some shaders to do per-pixel depth sorting, and I'll need height maps for that.
Thank you! Unfortunately, this asset does not include height maps, and there are currently no plans to add them.
Is there no single sand tile? I can't seem to find it. I have the tiles that are dirt + sand.
No sand tiles in this pack, unfortunately. The tiles you found are shoreline tiles — they’re meant to be used along coasts, typically with a water shader or similar effect underneath.
Amazing!
Thank you!
Hi, is possible to but the unity demo scene alone ? I bought the pack here, but I need examples to understand how to use the tiles properly..
Hi. It's not possible unfortunately, if you want the unity example scene you have to buy it from the unity asset store.
I wish I knew this before I bought them here as a pack. I wanted to support here as I thought itch.io would provide a higher payout percent and allowed bulk purchase of all of the assets you offer.
Great assets, but I'm a bit confused by the naming and the directions in particular. I would expect east to be up and to the right, but it seems like some of the assets are rotated 90 degrees?
Yes "East" in these tiles is down and to the right, south is down to the left etc. Any reason why you would prefer the naming to be rotated to "East" = up-left and so on?
I don't really have a strong preference one way or the other, but the chest assets for example seem to have east being up an to the right, while the walls are different .
I also wanted to kindly ask if you are planning to sell any space-themed assets in the near future. I would be really happy to follow your work and support it if you do.
Its not out of scrope, I might work on some Sci-fi stuff after I'm done with the Fantasy series!
I've been looking forward to these assets, but I have a few questions.
What are the differences between the Unity Asset Store version and the itch.io version? Are there any prefabs exclusive to Unity?
Thank you for your question! The main difference is that the Unity version includes an example scene demonstrating how the tiles can be used, along with a variety of prefabs that are ready to drop directly into your project. It also comes with the water shader shown in the video, plus some simple UI elements and icons used in the demo. But I would say the main reason to go with the Unity version is the bonus example scene.
If you’re working in another engine, or you don’t need the example scene, the Itch.io version is likely the best choice. It’s more affordable and contains all the core graphics as PNG files, giving you full flexibility to use them however you like.
Thank you!
I got back to you by email. Thanks for reaching out.
Can it be used commercially?
Yes! You are free to use it in your games and interactive projects commercially. But, redistribution, resale, or inclusion in other asset packs—whether modified or original—is not allowed.
The destruction looks amazing! I have one question though, what PPU/Anchors etc did you use on the tilemap/images to get them to place properly in unity? I have a PPU of 100 with anchor in the bottom for sorting and a grid with (1.0, 0.5) but they end up overlapping and being in weird positions
Thanks! There is a section called Technical Info in the asset description, but in short:
Pixel per unit: 128
Tile pivot point: X 0.5 Y 0.18
The only exception from this pivot is for cliffs and some ramps where a pivot of x 0.5 y 0.43 looks best in my view. But feel free to play around with the values .
Ah thank you, just me not being able to read :) Another question, I noticed theres alot of tree shadows in the video, there are a couple of shadow tiles but they are gray/white boxes, was there a mistake there or are you using a custom shader for the tree shadows?
No problem. Regarding the trees, yes in the video these are Script based, which I would recommend for tree Shadows in general. If you want to use sprites simply rotate a tree 90 degrees and add a black overlay with some transparency. Scale and deform the sprite if necessary. All other Shadow tiles are mainly for walls but can be used as sprite colliers aswell!
Hey looks great! would you be able to include a free demo or a screenshot with some of the .png assets (objects) just so we can see more clearly the style of these assets? some look more pixel and others photo, some HD, some blurry, hard to tell if its this will suit in my project. Also is the license allowed commercial use on steam etc?
Good idea! I'll see if I can add some clear screenshots of some tiles. In general the visuals are consistent across all tiles, with a semi stylized look. Larger objects have more detail but none are blurry.
Will you be releasing add-ons for this pack, such as ice maps, dungeons, etc.? Is the tile from the rural zombie pack compatible with it? Sorry for the English mistakes.
Yes, my plan is definitely to expand the fantasy series with new biomes and dungeons in future packs. As for compatibility with the Zombie packs: the tiles share the same size, but the art style and color palette are different. Whether they fit together really depends on the look you’re going for in your project.
Any update on this? I'm eager to get this pack but I'm also interested in dungeons or different biomes as well!
Always love your stuff. Seeing a fantasy tileset from you is an insta buy for me!
Instabuy!
Thanks!
Yeeey, I was waiting for this ❤️
Hope it was worth the wait!
