...But all things must come to an end. I'm sorry to say the community seems to have run its course and come to an end. It's no one's fault, and there's no one cause, but with activity and participation as slow as its been it's safe to say that we've all moved on to other things, or become wrapped up in school/work, and it's better that the RP have a clean break than limp along forever. We wish you all success and happiness in whatever you move onto next, and thank you for playing with us. We've all had an insanely good time.

I wanted to change my name from nightlynurse to midnightstudent. Mostly because there's been this mix up about Sally. She's not really a nurse, she wants to be a psychiatrist and I figure and actual nurse might want this name. Unfortunately, LJ wants to charge me $15 just to change a name (wtf?) so I was wondering if you could accept midnightstudent so I could delete nightlynurse? It's the same character: Sally Marquez and she's not being rebooted or anything like that.

Hey guys. Sorry for my absence. I've had sort of a lot on my plate with work and the animal rescue stuff I've been doing. Also, I'm not feeling very creative for whatever reason... I'm having a hard time coming up with anything worth writing about, so I'm kinda floating around without any real direction. If someone has a suggestion for a plot or something let me know... otherwise I might just bow out of the role play for now. I really enjoy writing the Joker, but I'm feeling creatively drained I guess.
Also... where's HQ? She seems really... quiet.

Anyhow I'm back.
I've kinda been putting together an 'whodunit' featuring three main suspects (I'm sure you can guess who).
All are capable of murder and have access, or will have access, to most of Arkham. Just something to stir the pot and, to make this clear, once the mystery is solved the bad guy (or girl) won't be arrested or found by the authorites or anything. *shrugs* Just trying to stir up trouble. If you guys are interested, let me know!

I just wanted to post here and say that I am SO sorry that I have been completely awol for a while. I ran into some hefty Real Life stuff that consumed both my time and parts of my soul...parts I shall never get back >.<
Classes have started for me again, but the course load as of yet has not become very taxing...so I am free to actually do things like RP, game, and sleep...

So now that we've gotten the delighftul maelstrom of looting and violence out of our systems, what's the consequence of that bad boy adventure? Well, the short of it is that we're going to pretend most of the punishments have already taken place (so that we're not sitting around for days while half the cast is in solitary).
. All inmates were subjected to a search and then kept in their cells for three-four days while locks were changed. So unless your character was careful about hiding what they managed to grab, be aware that some of it might have been nabbed.
. Those who performed particularly violent actions (i.e. Joker and Junkyard Dog) were further subjected to some shock therapy "correctional treatment" but otherwise they're back in the general population.
. Understandably, the orderlies might be a little rougher than usual for a week or so, and members of the staff more nervous. So feel free to note on that or incorporate it into playing.
