I'm planning on switching to T-Mobile from Centennial so I can get a Sidekick ID. I'm simply looking for opinions on these questions:
1) Do you use your Sidekick for talking? If you do, how much does your plan cost?
2) Would a myFave + unlimited data plan be a good idea? With a smaller minute plan, of course. I call very few people because most of my friends prefer texting and so do I.
3) How good is the service you get with T-Mobile? I've heard a few people say it's terrible and a couple others say it's wonderful.

Anything else you can tell me would be a great help. I'm definitely a Sidekick newbie. (:

I was looking at some screenshots of sidekick themes earlier and I noticed that a lot of them didn't have that big telephone picture in the middle of the screen, so you could see the whole background. Are you able to do that on the Sidekick LX? Or do you have to download a certain theme or something?

Right now I have the Sidekick Unlimited plan on my SK LX. I'm wonder what's the difference between the Unlimited plan and the Sidekick Data plan. The descriptions sound the same, but the Unlimited plan is $10 cheaper.

A;so, does anyone have the National Bus/Govt Plan? Are you able to get it if you simply need 60 minutes or do you need to meet qualifications or something? I have the 300 plan right now but I only use about 40 a month.

Hello.
I just switched from a SK3 to the LX and apparantly they dont transfer over ringtones.
I am soooooooo mad. I just bought 3 ringtones last month.
They arent cheap. I cant afford to buy them again now.
Is buying them again the only way to get them back? Or if I call up T-Mobile and complain will they give them back to me for free since I had already paid for them?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I checked the memories and couldnt find anything and I'm not going to sit here going back a ton of pages hoping to find an answer.

I am trying to download some ringtones to my phone from http://www.b9store.com/ringtones and it looks like the sk3 is not a supported phone.

What other ways could I get these songs as ringers? (I own the CDs of the songs I'm trying to get and they're also on my computer). Are there other websites? I've googled the band with "ringtones" and not a whole lot else pops up.

Just curious what you all think the current value of a sidekick 3 is?  I'm trying to sell mine on craiglist.  I don't want to undersell.  It's in good condition, but not excellent.  It's been used a lot, but it still works - there's nothing *wrong* with it per say except it's a bit beat up from the 2 full years I used it.  Thanks!

I've tried this like 80 times and it hasn't worked for me yet.  I wonder if anyone here will have any luck...


Step 1. Restart your device
Step 2. Do not sign into any apps or send any data……press menu+ o for good luck lol
Step 3. Watch your G7 for 3 minutes if the white swoosh isnt pulsating fast through the 7 then u need to restart (you can even go to network settings press menu + m if ur bytes recieved start counting fast ur good)
Step 4. Restart your sidekick as many times until your g7 continues to pulsate with white streak FAST & NONSTOP…10 minutes later it should still be moving even when ur not logged into messenger or texting or emailing….once u realize its doing the trick…lay ur sidekick down and in about 30 minutes ur OTA will be here…
