has anyone ever done shrooms for the first time alone? what was your experience like? i want to do shrooms very badly but my friends aren't up for it :/
Hey everyone-- I am new to the group and tried shrooms for the first time on Halloween! It was such an intense trip!!!!! If you want to, check it out the link above, it is my recount of the entire experience!!!
Hey all... so this is my first post here..read some of your entries so I just wanted to post my weekend of wonderfulness (okay so it was just a sunday but still) ... Anyways...a friend of mine and my girlfriend stopped by with a lovely 1/2oz of shroomies yesterday and to much of my excitement offered the free bag up! Now it was my first time on mushrooms (i've done e a bit and I have a bit of an addiction to mary jane lol) and now I wish I could live in mushroom land forever. I miss it so terribly! Anyways...it was a pretty amazing trip. We went for an hour walk through my town and man those trees...I am now an official literal tree hugger lol. It was just so great...I've never been so at peace with myself and the world. Don't get me wrong...I love the earth I'm all for "Go Green" and Peace and save the trees and whatnot but I have never loved something so much in my life. I've never appreciated nature and the earth like I did yesterday...in fact i still feel the feelings today. Watching the grass breath and the trees move and be alive and the sky morph into crazy designs and colors was so...peaceful, I could have died and been the happiest person on earth. Of course I had a wonderful body high, floating and touching and ugh....I just wanted people and animals and nature to hug!! is this a common thing? I love shroomin it's the ultimate best for me! The only thing was that I needed to walk in certain patterns in certain places and my body was just leaking fluids, my nose and eyes would not stop watering but I was not the only one, we were all leaky girls haha. Everyone and everything was perfect, the day the people i encountered..ah couldnt have been better. Why can't we all just live like that normally haha imagine the world then. I just can't get over how happy I was...how content and loving I felt. Even now after its gone I still feel a certain degree of pure peace.. Oh shrooms...
this weekend i went to Harvest Fest in Hancock, NY (damnsam.com). On my hunt for mushrooms, i decided to buy the first ones a heard of. This dude had 3 grams of liberty caps in some chocolate, cleverly shaped like a liberty bell. 2 of the people camping near us had taken them the night before, as well as 2 hits of acid. They tripped. HARD. we figured our trip would be pretty good. It was. I had a reallly really intense body high, but not many visuals. I felt amaazing, walking around smoking bowls just tripping out. occasionally the ground would breathe, and the trees bend, but that was all for visuals.
all in all, it was a good trip. not as intesne as i was hoping.
Anyone know where to find shrooms in the Hudson Valley area of New York??
Anyone know of a good place to find psychedelic mushrooms in upstate New York. In the Westchester area, the Catskill mountain region. I am from Long Island, NY so anywhere in this region would be great. I have done a bit of research but I really want to speak to someone who has real knowledge on shroom hunting.
TUCSON, Ariz. - A preliminary study of the active ingredient in psychedelic mushrooms has found it is effective in relieving the symptoms of people suffering from severe obsessive compulsive disorder, a University of Arizona psychiatrist reports.
So I ate shroom brownies this weekend and had the best first trip of my life. I felt completely connected to the universe and aware of all the mysteries that usually so trouble my insides. It was the most psychadelic experience ever: I could hardly communicate, much too focused on discovering the meaning of life. Often I found myself anticiptating "the wave" as I called it. The wave, as I explained while I was tripping out of my mind, is a flood of energy that you can feel comming when the room starts buzzing and the water starts moving... yeah. Also, my eyes were watering uncontrolably, I was really thirsty and cold. Common side effects? Who else notices the "energies". Ugh! Most evolutionary experience!
So maybe I should go major in botanicals and grow my own! The life.
