I've continued to be very absent lately still dealing with moving + visa planning, so if I've missed replying to something important please feel free to poke me. I think I'm across the essentials, but argh and hair tearing and etc. We got the mega joy minor heart attack experience of discovering they couldn't connect fibre internet in our new flat atm (full exchange cabinet sadface) and trying to work out what other connections are available to us vs. what speed The Girl needs for after hours work vs. fuck how many things do we need to reschedule to the alternate flat that we need to find if this won't work. It will, thank goodness, but it's just the latest in a long string of unexpected hiccups. I am feeling a little tested by the universe right now, heh.

In the midst of the madness, however, worldbuildingex happened hee. Again, my fic fought me more than I expected, and again I enjoyed the whole thing immensely once I finally wrestled it into submission. It's still a lovely little stretch exchange for me given my usual focus on ships, and I had a lot of fun again.

I didn't get time to promote it but I received the lovely Inspection by VampirePaladin (The Last Witch Hunter), and just oh gosh, you guys, this movie. I have so many backstory and worldbuilding wants for this movie, and it's such a joy to get another gift exploring it more \o/

I also wrote (well, finished, I have half a WIP treat somewhere) my first DISCO fic! About Captain Killy and the missing scenes that are the start of her surviving-the-Klingons!adventure, and all those annoying Starfleet people who want to help her, in the Prime Universe.
