Hello, and thanks for taking a look!

I am requesting fanfiction on all counts. Art treats would be lovely but are perhaps not well supported by the requests.

DNWS
    General DNWs:
  • Time loops (including both stable time loops and Groundhog Day style time loops).
  • On-page rape/noncon. That's to say, I don't want it depicted, but I'm fine with it being mentioned, threatened, part of someone's tragic backstory, etc.
  • Hopeless endings.
  • Unrequested setting-change AUs (as opposed to canon divergence, which is pretty much always welcome)
  • Stories that are entirely about sex.
  • Mundane AUs.
  • Omegaverse.
  • Soulmates

  • DNWs specific to Akatsuki no Yona:
  • Yona/Hak.

  • DNWs specific to X-Men (Marvel 616):
  • The Phoenix Force being portrayed as an intrinsically evil being.
  • Trevor Fitzroy.
  • Selene, the Shadow King, or Mojo playing a large role. (Exception: the Shadow King as an agent of angst and (past) noncon/dubcon in the prompt that mentions him.)
  • Any romantic pairings involving Empath.
  • Ororo/T'Challa--please don't even mention the marriage.
  • Mutant!Moira.

Likes
    General Likes:
  • Time travel, including: time travel fixit; time travel with the glorious angst of knowing you're overwriting your future to give the past a chance; time travel that results in forming new kinds of relationships with people, like becoming friends with someone who was an enemy in the old timeline.
  • Strict honor codes.
  • Worldbuilding.
  • Alien POV.
  • A sense of wonder.
  • Loyalty.
  • Characters temporarily putting aside their weapons or sources of power as a show of trust.
  • Best enemies, who might kill each other someday but fundamentally respect and trust each other, perhaps more than they do their nominal allies. Rivals and enemies becoming friends, or allies, or lovers, or swearing loyalty to one another.
  • Kneeling. Male characters' long hair falling to the ground/dirt as they kneel.
  • Physical gestures of loyalty or affection.
  • Unexpected mercy. Mercy in general, too.
  • Heroism in desperate straits, characters choosing to be heroic even in a dystopia or doomed world.
  • Magical abilities/superpowers in daily life.
  • Mentor-student relationships, particularly those that are fond and respectful even as the student has come to disagree fundementally with the mentor.
  • Powerful women. Women holding power over men. Femdom.
  • Characters who have high standards and ruthlessly apply those standards to themselves.
  • Righteous rage.
  • Competence.
  • Hurt/comfort.
  • Close platonic friendships.
  • Diplomatic/nonviolent solutions being viable!
  • Alien species coexisting with each other and appreciating each other's differences.
  • Reptiles! Dragons, snakes, lizards, reptile aliens. I like scales.
  • ... not to say I don't appreciate a nice badass fight scene, though, especially when it's a female character being badass.
  • Characters who are convinced that they don't matter and no one cares learning that actually someone does care and does think they matter.
  • Rescues! Rescues where the rescuee is convinced no one's coming, implacable rescuers overcoming terrible obstacles to save their friends/lovers.

Akatsuki no Yona | Yona of the Dawn
    Fandom-Specific DNWs:
  • Yona/Hak.

  • Fandom-Specific Likes:
  • I love the intense loyalty that Yona inspires!
  • I also love the way the dragons are bowled over by their connection to Yona when they first meet her. I would love more exploration of how that connection affects them.
  • The tension between the dragons' inbuilt loyalty to Yona and their genuine feelings for her (including more loyalty!) is great.
  • I also love Yona's journey from sheltered princess to competent and inspiring leader and fighter.
  • The different (but close!) relationships between the dragons.
  • I really love how angsty Zeno's past and powers are.

  • Notes:
  • I've requested this fandom before. My previous letters can be found here.
  • I strongly prefer the old fanon transliteration for Shin-ah's name over the new official version; I'm pretty neutral on the others, though.

  • Yona Request:

    Relationships:
  • Kija/Yona
  • Jae-ha/Yona
  • Shin-ah/Yona
  • Yona/Four Dragon Warriors

  • Freeforms:
  • Character Feels Both Magically Ingrained Loyalty & Personal Loyalty To Same Person
  • Femdom
  • gentle femdom in a non-sexual situation
  • Harem
  • Hurt/Comfort - Character being protected isn't used to being cared about
  • Hurt/Comfort - Character isn't used to being loved and shown tenderness/affection
  • Hurt/Comfort - insisting that exhausted character rest
  • Kneeling
  • Lord displaying devotion or doing service for sworn knight
  • Loyalty Kink
  • Loyalty Kink - Loving devotion to the person you've pledged to protect
  • Materially deprived character experiences small comforts/pleasures for first time
  • Protectiveness - Character being protected isn't used to being cared about
  • Touch-Starved Character gets their hair stroked & gets other kind gentle touches & cuddles
  • Women with total power over men

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • I adore the power Yona has over the dragons, the way that their dragon's blood makes them basically swoon when they first meet her, the way they're never going to be able to completely untangle their own feelings from that magically ingrained love and loyalty.
  • Yona/Jae-ha: he's spent his whole life running from his destiny (and thus from her), and when he first meets her he basically keels over. I love the tension there between Jae-ha's love for Yona (not all of which is his own!) and his fear of Hiryuu, and then there's his issues with chains and the figurative chain to his role...
  • Yona/Shin-ah: This relationship is just sweet She named him! (And that's its own kind of power, that she offered him freedom and friends and opened the whole world up to him.) And she's not afraid to look him in the eye. And between her isolation as a princess and his isolation because of his fucked-up village, they're both seeing the world for the first time, together.
  • Yona/Kija: Kija has waited his whole life to serve Yona! He genuinely wants to do the same thing as the dragon in him does; he's all for this compulsion and he's also fulfilling the wishes of his desperate ancestral ghosts. For the others, there's tension between the role and their selves, but Kija is 100% onboard with being the White Dragon.
  • And while I didn't request Yona/Zeno on their own, for the harem option: Zeno has loved a king and loved a wife, and lost both of them; that could make for some delicious angst... Zeno also has a lot more experience juggling the dragon's feelings and his own. He still feels the dragon's loyalty, but he's got a much better handle on what's him and what isn't, and when he chooses Yona it's because he thinks she's worth it in her own right.
  • I've honestly always been rather sorry that this wasn't more of a reverse harem situation. Perhaps an AU where Yona quite literally has a harem of devoted men? Or an informal one, when she's Queen and they're her bodyguards?
  • The harem option also has some room to explore/contrast the different ways the dragons relate to Yona: Kija being totally okay with the inborn loyalty and Jae-ha very much not, Shin-ah just glomming onto her and Zeno waiting and testing her before he reveals himself.

Books of the Raksura
    Fandom-Specific Likes:
  • Raksura culture! I love the extended-family nature of the courts, and their etiquette. I also like the matriarchal elements, and the way the caste system is partly dictated by biology but mostly not.
  • Raksura physicality—spines, tails, wings, body language that incorporates these things.
  • The vastness and weirdness of the Three Worlds, all these civilizations and bizarre life forms and the ruins of older and possibly weirder ones—it's like a space opera setting on one planet, I love it.

  • Notes:
  • I've requested this fandom before. My previous letters can be found here.
  • This is a fandom where I'm definitely okay with unrequested ships! However, the focus should be on the requested relationship. (I.e., for the Jade/Moon/OC prompts, I'm fine with Moon/Chime also being in the story, but I want the story to be about the relationship I asked for.)
  • For the OC/OC prompts, I'm fine with combinations if you want that to happen—no objections to a reigning queen who has a thing for a sister queen and is also very protective of her woobie consort, for example.

  • Raksura Request:

    Relationships:
  • Jade/Moon & Jade/Original Second Consort
  • Jade/Moon/Original Second Consort
  • Original Protective Queen/Original Woobie Consort
  • Original Reigning Queen of Merged Court/Former Reigning Queen of Other Original Court
  • Original Reigning Queen/Original Older Sister Queen of Different Bloodline

  • Freeforms:
  • Competence Kink - Character is extremely impressed proud&supportive of another character's skills
  • Competence kink - mutual admiration
  • Competence Kink - male character is in awe of female character's confidence/intelligence/etc
  • consensual polyamory
  • Court intrigue
  • Courting rituals
  • Enemies to Friends to Lovers
  • Femdom
  • lavish depictions of food and clothing
  • Marriage of convenience turns out to be unexpectedly passionate and loving
  • Play Fighting
  • Protectiveness - Character is unexpectedly tender and protective of the other
  • Respectful And Creative Courtship/Seduction
  • Rescue
  • Women with total power over men

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • Ever since that scene where Jade tells Moon that she'll only take a second consort with his approval, I've wanted to see that happen. What kind of second consort would they both approve of? Is he as unconventional as Moon, or is he a damsel in distress that they rescue? Or iss this a situation like Cloud's, where he's managed to ruin all his other prospects but they like him and Indigo Cloud is an unconventional court anyway these days? Is taking him Jade's idea or Moon's? (I've requested both the version where Moon/Second Consort is a thing and the version where it isn't; go with whichever makes you happiest.)
  • I really love Raksura royal gender dynamics. I would love to see a rescue romance, or a consort who's given to a court he has no idea what to make of slowly coming to trust his queen and realize that she loves him and will keep him safe no matter what. I'd also love to see a traditional courtship!
  • I get the impression that queen/queen relationships are pretty unusual—not taboo, but not something that happens much. But naturally I adore the idea of them! We're told that queens of different bloodlines are often rivals—maybe that rivalry leads to sexual tension which leads to a different sort of relationship? I also like the tension of an older sister queen who watches this young upstart take over from a reigning queen she respected and is kind of grumpy about it—she can't help but feel she could do better. Maybe she challenges and loses—or maybe she decides to mentor the reigning queen, because she'll be damned if she sees this court mismanaged? Or maybe she fundamentally doesn't want the job (and even mentors her because if she turns out to be bad at the job, the sister queen might have to take over and she doesn't want that?), and it takes the reigning queen a while to figure that out...
  • I'm really fascinated by the idea of courts joining/merging, and I love the extra tension that would add to a queen/queen romance! Did one queen grudgingly stand aside from the other, or did she lose the challenge to determine who would reign and who would support? How does the loser deal with the loss of status? I assume they had to at least respect each other to go through with this--I'd like to see them start to reluctantly like each other, and then comes love as well.

Homestuck (Eldritchfuck Roseworld)
    Notes:
  • Eldritchfuck Roseworld is a (very iddy) shared multiverse born on FFA. The original discussion is here, and the AO3 collection is here.
  • Nonconsentacles are fine! I would prefer them to be thwarted, however.
  • Since I'm only requesting EFRW, the prompts start with what I like about that instead of having a fandom likes section per se.

  • Homestuck Request:

    Relationships:
  • Darkleer & Equius Zahhak
  • Darkleer & Nepeta Leijon
  • Darkleer & Rose Lalonde
  • Darkleer & the Dolorosa
  • Darkleer & the Summoner
  • The Dolorosa & Rose Lalonde
  • The Handmaid & Jake English
  • Jade Harley & Nepeta Leijon & Equius Zahhak
  • Rose Lalonde & Gamzee Makara
  • Sollux Captor & Rose Lalonde

  • Freeforms:
  • Eldritchfuck Roseworld: Ancestors Branch
  • Eldritchfuck Roseworld: Dead John Branch

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • Things I love about EFRW in general: Hurt/comfort! The way the harems support and protect each other! Rose (and John when he's good and alive) slowly earning the harems' trust even though they look just like the people who put them through hell! All the unexpected mercy and all the times the harems justifiably expect the worst and it somehow does not come!
  • Things I love about the Dead John branch in particular: Rose's isolation and loneliness (I love all the flavors of woobiness this 'verse has to offer). Rose's badassery. Unexpected harem favorite Sollux and his weird slow friendship with Rose (I also totally ship them as moirails). Everyone in the harems being terrified of Rose because if she killed John then all bets are off (even as she's trying to make things better).
  • Things I love about the Ancestors branch in particular: The way the kid-trolls are terrified of the adults but still fold them into the harem solidarity network, because how could they not? The adults being touched and kind of in awe of the kids' capacity for kindness after all this. The possibility that the adults feel responsible for the kids getting targeted for trauma in the first place!
  • ... I would also definitely be up for a hybrid in which Rose, having killed Evil John and sent someone back to get Gamzee and various tied-up boys from wherever they'd been stashed, realizes that in addition to all the horrors she's seen so far today there are traumatized Ancestors chained up in the basement. (Perhaps isolated purposefully from the rest of the harems?)
  • The Ancestors didn't have the intra-harem support network of the younger trolls—and I get the impression they had a lot of preexisting baggage with each other, even if their histories didn't play out in quite the same way! I'd really love something about one of the pairs I selected reaching out to each other and finding out that the other one doesn't actually hate them anymore/is willing to try this harem alliance thing out.
  • With Darkleer and the younger trolls (or any Ancestor + younger trolls), I really love the idea of the young trolls being terrified of these giants but also... they're hurt and scared and of course they need to take them into the alliance and look after them! And h/c. And Ancestors and Descendents feeling weird and maybe proud of each other, and Ancestors looking at the Descendants of people they have history with and thinking, oh these youngsters are doing so much better.
  • Did the Ancestors have much contact with Evil Rose & John? If they didn't... then Rose gets to deal with someone who hasn't been tortured for years by her doppelgänger. But who still has good reason to be wary! (I also love the idea of these giant Ancestors being afraid of relatively tiny deadly Rose.)
  • I really loved the detail about Jade and Nepeta sleeping piled on each other--and all the other quasi-pale activity going on in the harems! When the harems get integrated and Nepeta can finally see her meowrail again, does she feel like she's been unfaithful? (And does he feel he has been?) Does Jade back off and then get told no, please come back? Maybe they just add another to the cuddle pile?
  • I love the idea of Jake being gentlemanly to this ancient force of terror and her being weirdly charmed by the consideration. Also these two are such woobies (and even more so in this 'verse!) and mutual comfort would be lovely.
  • I really love the relationship Rose and Sollux have in the Dead John branch especially, him mouthing off with almost no filter because he's past caring and her just being relieved that someone's actually telling her what they mean, so that he's constantly surprised that she's not hurting him.
  • What does Gamzee make of Good Rose? He's got this whole quasi-religious view of the harem situation, and here's this new powerful figure who's behaving so strangely nicely...

Marvel 616 (X-Men)
    Fandom-Specific DNWs:
  • The Phoenix Force being portrayed as an intrinsically evil being.
  • Trevor Fitzroy.
  • Selene, the Shadow King, or Mojo playing a large role.
  • Any romantic pairings involving Empath.
  • Ororo/T'Challa--please don't even mention the marriage.
  • Mutant!Moira.

  • Fandom-Specific Likes:
  • Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears them? My id.
  • Mutant powers! I love exploration of mutant powers, how they work, how people use them in daily life, clever ways to use them in fights.
  • I love how totally bonkers X-Men comics can be. Space opera adventures one day, canon sword & sorcery AU the next? Of course!
  • Redemption arcs!
  • I love how dramatic so many of these characters are. Magneto, Storm, Exodus, lots of others--they live their lives turned up to eleven and I adore that. (I also love the idea of them bonding over how this is another person who understands the worth of drama!)
  • I have a thing for power—well, multiple things for power. I love superpowers themselves, the way they might change how their wielder sees the world. I love powerful women. And I love powerful men who nonetheless submit to others (see Exodus).
  • The Octopus Shirt. If someone ends up wearing it, I will be very, very happy.

  • Notes:
  • I've requested this fandom before. My previous letters can be found here.
  • I'm most familiar with and fond of the original Claremont run from the 80s. However, I definitely have faves from later on (see my whole Exodus-focused request!) and I know enough about other eras that I won't be lost or unhappy if you choose to set your story elsewhen.

  • X-Men Request 1: Exodus

    Relationships:
  • Bennet du Paris/Erik Magnus Lehnsherr
  • Bennet du Paris/Ororo Munroe
  • Bennet du Paris & Ororo Munroe
  • Bennet du Paris/Scott Summers

  • Freeforms:
  • Alternate Universe - Fantasy
  • Alternate Universe - Knight and Liege
  • Alternate Universe - Sword & Sorcery AU
  • Angst - Character thinks nothing matters except the Cause
  • Character A tilting character B's chin up with the tip of a sword
  • Character Is Worshiped By A Cult
  • Dreams - Dreamsharing
  • Enemies to Lovers - Accidental soulbond between enemies
  • Helmet Kissing
  • Hurt/Comfort - rescued from imprisonment
  • Hurt/Comfort - Torture Recovery
  • Kneeling
  • Lord displaying devotion or doing service for sworn knight
  • Loyalty Kink
  • Loyalty Kink - Following Disliked Order
  • Loyalty Kink - Loyalty to a person leads to even greater loyalty to their cause
  • Marvel 616: The Shadow King Made Them Do It Evilly & Sexily
  • Power Kink
  • Powers - Character is overwhelmed by their telepathy
  • Resurrection - leads to accidental soul bond

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • I'm really into Exodus's ten-miles-above-the-top loyalty/worship. And something about this ridiculously powerful guy who's always either obsessively serving someone else or seeking someone else to serve really tickles my id! (I'm also into the man out of time, stranger to the world angle.)
  • Magneto: Exodus really comes across to me as having an unrequited crush on Magneto. He's spent an entire supervillain career alternating between obsessively serving Magneto and trying to fill a Magneto-shaped hole in the world, with at least one interlude of crying because "Magneto" kissed someone else in front of him. I really love that obsessive loyalty-and-love. And how exactly did Mags gain Exodus's loyalty in the first place, anyway?(I am absolutely okay with one-sided Exodus->Magneto here, but if you want to write it requited I'm into that too!)
  • Scott: I really love the parallels you can get between Cyclops the heir of Xavier and Exodus the heir of Magneto—both shaped and screwed up by their mentors, and both eventually (if temporarily) struck out on their own... There's also the whole thing where Scott is telepath catnip and Exodus is a telepath.
  • Ororo: Ororo attracts so many supervillains who want her to be their queen and rule by their side; I can see Exodus also appreciating her regal nature and leadership skills, but I think in his case it would be more "you be queen and I will do what you need done!" Which would be a slightly new experience!
  • Exodus has so many superpowers that even he loses track of them sometimes. I find it totally plausible that he could accidentally link his dreams to someone else's, or that he could decide that this person is the Hope of Mutantdom, resurrect them, and then realize that oh dear he didn't plan for that side effect but he has no idea if he can do anything about it...
  • The Shadow King idea: I get the idea that Exodus has issues about sex, what with deciding that the Crusader oath of celibacy still counted even after he wasn't on Crusade and hadn't been for... um, a while, even subjectively. And the Shadow King loves to fuck with people including literally...
  • I feel like even when he doesn't have the Acolytes to keep him busy Bennet is basically a one-man cult. And sometimes he does have the Acolytes! (Said cult can be directed at Magneto as in canon, or at someone else if you prefer...)
  • I also like the idea of powerful Exodus getting captured/tortured and needing to be rescued by someone else!
  • For AUs: I am into people looking dashing and fighting with swords. I'm interested in both genuine elseworlds-style AUs, and in temporary reality warps like the Kulan Gath situation. (Maybe Exodus is convinced in the illusion that whoever-it-is is his liege, and when he comes out he realizes that they're actually still awesome and sticks around?

  • X-Men Request 2: The Phoenix Force

    Relationships:
  • Jean Grey/Phoenix Force
  • Kitty Pryde/Phoenix Force
  • Madelyne Pryor/Phoenix Force
  • Ororo Munroe/Phoenix Force
  • Phoenix Force/Scott Summers

  • Freeforms:
  • Alternate Universe - Fantasy
  • Ceremonially Married to a God - But with a real consummation and relationship
  • Marvel 616: The Phoenix Force Is Obsessed With All Its Hosts' Loved Ones

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • You know how the Phoenix is obsessed with Scott because Jean loved him, and also because Dark Phoenix Saga history? I'm into that. I would also be here for basically that but with other people that Jean and Rachel loved—surely the Phoenix experienced that love too! Give me this cosmic force honing in on these people and how that feels to them.
  • Jean: The Phoenix loved Jean and convinced itself that it was Jean, and Jean is the face the Phoenix wears to humans. I love those layers of identification and obsession and love, how Jean is the lens through which the Phoenix sees humanity and humans see the Phoenix. And then the Phoenix's next host is Jean's daughter (perhaps with the Phoenix), who loves her in a different way and seeks her approval and wants to honor her. I'd be intrigued to see how that could affect the Phoenix's later relationship with Jean! Or the fantasy AU, where the Phoenix is a goddess falling in love with her priestess/avatar, and no one knows if the result will be glory or ruin or both...
  • Scott: The Phoenix, having been Jean and felt Jean's passions, loves Scott; it always comes back to him on Earth. There's also that layer of Scott being telepath catnip; the Phoenix isn't simply a telepath, but it's certainly fascinated with Scott's mind! There's also the element of the Phoenix being able to control Scott's powers when he can't (that scene on the mesa, mmm). And they both love Jean, and shared so many experiences of her... I also like the idea of a fantasy AU where he's the upright young hero or lord and the local goddess falls for him, with or without the added tangle of a prior relationship with the goddess's avatar.
  • Ororo: Ororo and Jean-Phoenix were extremely close during the Phoenix's first experience with humanity--and Ororo's relationships with power and with the divine are pretty unique! Her attitude towards her own emotions—control, serenity, then acceptance that passion is part of her life—is also something that could interact really interestingly with the Phoenix. (And of all that era's X-Men, I think Ororo is the only other one who could have been a viable host for the Phoenix.) Fantasy AU: perhaps Ororo is (or was) a priestess of some other goddess, and now she's striking up a relationship with this one, and treats her more like an equal than the Phoenix is used to?
  • (Phoenix/Jean/Scott and/or Phoenix/Jean/Ororo would also be welcome should you wish to combine prompts.)
  • Kitty: And now for someone close to the Phoenix's other major host! The Phoenix has a different relationship with Rachel than with Jean, but it still experienced her passions—so what does it think of Kitty, who it's also known twice over, in the future and in the present? (Kitty has also seen this play out—she's been there for the Phoenix's Scott obsession—so there's also that element.)
  • Madelyne: The Phoenix is what woke Maddy up—she was asleep and unresponsive for her whole life until Jean died on the moon and the Phoenix reached out to her. She rejected it then. What if she didn't--or what if it came back to her? That would be a fraught relationship, but it really could be fascinating, including on a pure identity porn level. (Or, in a fantasy AU: Maddy is Jean's illegitimate sister, or a magical construct made in imitation of her, and she resents the goddess that loved her "sister" but is also drawn to her...)

  • X-Men Request 3: Madelyne Pryor

    Relationships:
  • Jean Grey & Madelyne Pryor
  • Madelyne Pryor & Rachel Summers
  • Madelyne Pryor & Phoenix Force
  • Madelyne Pryor/Ororo Munroe
  • Madelyne Pryor/Raven Darkholme

  • Freeforms:
  • Character Deserves Love Despite Terrible Actions in the Past
  • Dreams - Dreamsharing
  • Fix-It
  • Enemies to Lovers - Accidental soulbond between enemies
  • Enemies to Lovers - Forced to rely on the enemy
  • Hurt/Comfort - Character Doesn't Expect Tenderness But Gets It Anyway
  • Hurt/Comfort - rescued from imprisonment
  • Nature - Joy while in stormy weather
  • Power Kink
  • Powers - Character is overwhelmed by their telepathy
  • Redemption
  • Resurrection - leads to accidental soul bond
  • Roaring Rampage of Rescue
  • Time Travel - 'Peggy Sue' trope
  • Time Travel - Mercy Killing Your Original Timeline & Creating A Better New One

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • I am definitely a Madelyne Pryor Deserved Better person. I loved her as a resourceful human ally, loved that moment when she turned to Scott and demanded to know what he'd gotten her into, loved her yellow sundresses and loved her as mission control in Australia. I am not a fan of the Goblyn Queen thing; I'd love either a fixit for that happening in the first place or a story set later in which another character pulls her back. I just want her to be a hero again and to forge new relationships that have nothing to do with being Jean's clone--or bond with other people who are in Jean's shadow, or forge a new relationship with Jean herself.
  • Maddy and her lover or relation vs. Genosha, which actually does deserve Maddy's worst?
  • I love the Grey women and their tangle of identity and love and hate and power. Jean who's the embodiment of the way Maddy's life collapsed, the woman she was made in imitation of; Rachel, who lives with her in Jean's shadow but loves her as Maddy hates her; the Phoenix, that Maddy rejected with her first breath...
  • Ororo believes in Maddy when no one else does. I'd love to see her pull Maddy back from the brink, or convince her to be a hero again after she's become certain that that's impossible, that she's doomed and damned.
  • For Maddy and Raven: their worlds are collapsed, the love of Raven's life is dead and Maddy's whole life has imploded... but they're still alive, they meet at the rock bottom and climb up together. Or, Raven knows what's going to happen to Maddy and she decides to head it off and recruit her, because she wants that power on her side.

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • I really love stories where Sakura gets to be awesome. Time travel and save the world? Rescuing her love interest from bad guys? Being a great medic and a great fighter, or competent at basically anything? Other characters (especially but not limited to LIs) getting how great she is? Yes please. Singlehandedly taking down Root? Taking down Root with awesome teamwork? All of that.
  • Kisame seems like someone who would appreciate Sakura's capacity for violence! And she'd appreciate his capacity for loyalty. (Would love to see her earning that loyalty for herself or her cause/village!)
  • Root recovery! I am all for Root agents (current or former) learning to human and realizing that their friends/lovers care about them, and that they care back and what is this feeling?
  • I like the idea of Tenzou being kind of scared of medics due to his history with experimentation. Sakura isn’t used to her teammates fearing her—she’s uncomfortable, but maybe she also kind of likes it (novelty, kink, fear is better than disrespect…)
  • Sai is dedicated to learning how to be a person; Sakura, who's dedicated herself to becoming one of the world's greatest medics, respects that.
  • In general, I adore ninja having to work together to survive and gaining a new appreciation of each other's skills/each other as people.
  • How far does a ninja owe loyalty to a village that's fucked them over?
  • One thing I love about time travel is the traveller reevaluating people they knew in the future now that they've met them in the past, and forming entirely new relationships--friends/lovers with someone who would have been an enemy, protective of someone who would've been a relatively distant colleague, etc. (I also love the idea of having to time travel and infiltrate/fix a village not your own; there's some great room for angst there!)
  • Time traveling teams are love. (Especially if one traveler is going to be stuck in Root for a while, and their teammate/lover has to support them while they work on taking down Danzou...)

  • Time Travel - Mercy Killing Your Original Timeline & Creating A Better New One
  • Trust Kink

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • So. I have a soft spot for Mei, and it makes me sad that she never gets the relationship she wants in canon. And honestly, she's powerful, deadly, gorgeous, and has to be pretty damn politically competent to have dragged her village out of the 'Bloody Mist' era—in other words, she ought to be a hell of a catch! So I would like her to make a mutually happy and politically beneficial match with someone who appreciates her many excellent qualities.
  • Mei rescuing her LI in a badass fashion? Working together and realizing they're a great team?
  • Mei marries an old rival because it's the only way to keep him alive and damnit, killing him would be a waste. (Perhaps she's the only one she trusts to watch someone so skilled/powerful--or the only one the other kages trust?)
  • Perhaps a marriage between prominent shinobi would strike the third or fourth Mizukage as a threat, so Mei and her LI are unable to legally tie the knot until they've won the rebellion?
  • Alternately, an evil predecessor Mizukage decides to troll Mei by pulling out an old custom of "you win ritual combat against someone in X circumstance, well now you have to get married". The marriage turns out surprisingly well, to the doom of Mei's awful predecessor!
  • Trust and loyalty are pretty fraught concepts in the Bloody Mist! I expect they both feel almost transgressive...
  • I am always up for time travel! Up for any party as a time traveler. (If Mei, she's determined to get someone on her side that she didn't manage to recruit/save last time; if it's the other character, maybe time travel gives him a new appreciation of Mei/her rebellion?)

  • Time Travel - 'Peggy Sue' trope
  • Time Travel - Mercy Killing Your Original Timeline & Creating A Better New One
  • Time Travel - Seducing the Villain To Keep Them From Turning To Evil

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • Okay, look. When I first got into Naruto fic, I read a lot of OT3 fic, such that a part of my brain still thinks ninja teams are basically arranged marriages. The failure of the Sannin's team was high tragedy to me, and I was also convinced that part of the tragedy was that they never got together. So.
  • Time travel: Jiraiya and Tsunade go back in time and want to save their team, even knowing just how bad Orochimaru has the potential to go. (Or, they initially write him off as impossible... but after they actually meet young Orochimaru again, they have to try even if it may be a doomed effort.)
  • These three are made for truly epic competence and teamwork kink!
  • I am also really delighted by the idea of the Sannin rescuing each other in a badass fashion, and even the greatest ninja can be captured, tortured, and require the support of their team afterwards...

  • Prompts/Thoughts:
  • For Original Works, some settings I'm into include space opera, planetary romance (a la Pern or Barsoom), high fantasy, sword & sorcery. Basically, I like weird and/or tropey secondary worlds!
  • Matriarchies welcome!
  • I am very much into the F/m power imbalance aspect of the tags I selected!
  • Also into situations where a character's power is magnified due to isolation--a captain and her ship on the high seas, for example.
  • My intention for the badass bisexual harem tag was that the harem contain people of various genders. For the other harems, I am definitely up for mixed-gender harems as well!
  • I think a lot of these situations lend themselves to unexpected mercy--the guy (or several people!) in the woman's power expect pain and mistreatment and get kindness and consideration instead.
  • I really love scenarios where characters beg mercy on one another's behalf (perhaps the consort for his brother, or one of the harem members for another, or a harem member for the conquered populace).
  • I also adore situations where initial fear and distrust slowly transforms into passionate loyalty.
  • I love physically weird aliens, and aliens that don't think like humans but can still find common ground.
