Aren't you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community.

I'm thinking about studying abroad to south korea next year but have some concerns that I need help with. They may sound a little shallow, but they're genuine concerns. Does anybody know how tall they are? I know that asians in general aren't that tall. But you have chinese who tend to be shorter statured and then japanese who tend to be nice and tall, but where do south korean's fit in? I'm tall already, and want to fit in. It'd be hard buying clothes there if they're only as tall as the chinese. Any infor you can give me on south koreans asap would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello, I'm Ryu, I'm new..And I'm in need of a bit of help..
I haven't self harmed in quite a few months now, and I'm really happy with myself..
But.. [this will sound really stupid] I broke my arm when I was pretty young, and took alot of damage to my nerves, so my arm feels slightly more numb than the rest of my body. So, when I feel this numbness, I want to get rid of it, by cutting it, even just a tiny nick would be enough, but then i'd get carried away and fall into a trap, an addiction of sorts with the blade.
So, I need some help, I really dont want to cut, I really, really dont..
Do any of you have any ideas on how I can just..feel something, without harming myself?
Sorry if any of the above sounds stupid..Thanks.

Hmmm,how to start this out...
Well,it's been awhile.I should hav a pic to post soon as I have found my digital camera again.
Life has been...life.My family has this talent of making me feel worthless which in turn makes me want to run and grab a razor and just hack at my wrist. But I made a promise not to,so I guess I'm going to have to stick to it.I do miss the sight of blood, the feel of a blade against my skin, cuts healing(minus the god-awful itching),and the pearl colored scars of a deep cut.But I've been -clean- per se for a long time, nearly a year now.Maybe I'm better off not as a SI,but damn did it relieve some stress.
Hope everyone's doing good out there too.
