We’ve got hit with more heat which, coupled with random depression waves, has made the week a bit bleh and draining (not helped by multiple trips in the heat and mum being bitchy), though there were some moments that were less so.

Sunday there was mail. I’d done an order of more lego Pokémon cause the pay in three worked. So I got Charizard vs Jolteon and Charmander and Geodude, plus I got the freebie of Dirro as Squirtle which is so cute! And used my points on the Pokémon Center.

I might make a post with pics soon (I’ve meant to take more) but Charizard is a really good build and very posable. Plus I love how cute the ditto as squirtle is. (But again, pics soon maybe, though I posted some over in insta. (Also Argos has an offer where you get 5000 nectar points which is £25, but only on the bigger sets so mum got the Lapras set for my birthday. Funny how I was only gonna be getting two of them total and now…)

Monday I was able to, finally, sort the follow up appointment at the hospital. On the call it was meant to be with a consultant so I figured it was just going over the results… but the letter that came the other day mentioned there being other tests too so eho the fuck knows? It’s also not for another month which is 19th of September.

Tuesday the new Sfx came and I had a lil look through and read some reviews. But also we’re getting Leviticus next month, which is the first I’ve heard of a uk release. I’m keeping an eye on the coming soon of the cinema for confirmation (it’s not there yet, but then neither is Resident Evil).

Then in the night there was a run of Seapeekay night streams cause he was in an event which threw things off annoyingly. Though the event did end up being cancelled before the last days which sucks for the people organising it cause there were issues. (Still seapeekay was first the last day so technically he win, which is funny cause it’s a Spanish speaking event)

Wednesday was a trip down to get mums meds, which was draining cause of the heat. I had hoped sainsburys would have the fantastic four comic but alas no. At least they had the Lego ones I get but…

So when we got back I was pretty much flop until we tried to see the eclipse…. Though we didn’t get a good look at it, I dunno if the timing was messed up (I went out when the met office insta said) but we just didn’t see it. Apparently other people in the area didn’t either so I dunno what was up with that, cause it’s not like it was super cloudy.

In the night I got the new Pokopia expansion pass when my money went in. The new area is very pretty, being underwater and clearly cerulean city. It is odd though that there’s cerulean cave and not much there, though maybe there will be later.

Thursday I headed down to home bargains to get some bits for mum, and the nightmare before Christmas lounge pants. They also had a cool lil Star Wars tsum tsum set of Jabba’s palace which was cute. And I got some Star Wars Unlimited packs from Sports Direct/Game too (so many packs had multiple rare cards, one even had four!).

I managed to watch a few things the past days which were fun too (though not as many as I hoped).
*Castle - finishing season 7 and starting season 8, the last season. I do wonder if the central mystery of 7 was planned cause…
*Strange New Worlds - shuttle to Kenfori which was part plant zombies, part revenge, but really great
*Futurama - pirates, in space! This was really fun but it’s futurama so to be expected, but was also unexpected
*Ninth Jedi - I saw people compare ninth Jedi to LOTR and I wondered why well, this ep had what was essentially dwarfs.
*Widow’s Bay - it was amusing to me how the mayor said ‘everything’s fine’ At the start which might have been true… if there wasn’t three eps to go so it was obvious the curse wasn’t over. But honestly this is such a great show, one of the best of the year

I might have finished Widow’s Bay last night but I got hit by my eyes aching coupled with tiredness, bleh. I’m hoping to get back into watching American Horror Story soon took finally finishing Asylum then going through the others. The new season trailer made me wanna see though I don’t think I can get through 11 seasons plus American horror stories in a month. (And I still need to finish The Beauty)

It’s a Disney event thing and so I woke to a lot of announcements from last night.

*Tangled - I’m not keen on the live action stuff but this does have Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel and I know she’ll kill it.
*Doomsday - A new trailer which does look better. Though I stand by my opinion that we really should have had Doom interact with the Fantastic Four before this, especially since they’re talking about how they know him. Would’ve been nice to have seen that beforehand
*Visionquest - the trailer looks really great! It makes me wanna do a rewatch of Wandavision/Agatha All Along beforehand, though I doubt I’ll have the time
*Starfighter - Some new info got put out, though not much, main thing is Ryan Gosling’s character has both a new (Cade) and a cool Jacket (with the rebel alliance symbol upside down so it looks like a skull). Plus he looks hot. After seeing him in Project Hail Mary I’m so hyped for this
*Ahsoka - Finally a new trailer, with a date (January). It does look really cool and I’m so hyped to see everyone again (and b-wings!!). I’m glad to see more Nightsisters though it does suck they seem fully with the empire. (Plus there’s a hot guy with a cool lightsaber)

Today was also draining, I had to go back to home bargains (causa mum deciding we needed more stuff from there, ugh) though I got some more cards from game (clearing the last of two sets) which I’ll open tonight. I might watch Widow’s Bay/get back to American Horror Story later though it depends on my energy.

Monday is a cinema trill so we’ll see if the mystery film is one of the two things I suspect it is (or if it’s a secret theird thing)
