Can someone recommend a barber/hairstylist in the Vic Park-Lawrence or Vic Park-Eglinton areas? My boyfriend went to First Choice, wasn't happy with it, I'm trying to find out other options.

hi. i live just off danforth road, east of birchmount. there were a bunch of cop cars at the foot of cotton and marsh avenue, and people were saying there was a robbery. some were saying a woman was led out of a house at the corner of cotton ave and danforth in handcuffs. anyone know what went down? i'm curious as hell. the streets were blocked off for what seemed like hours!
I am currently living in West Hill.. but need to move as my situation is not the best. I REALLY would prefer to stay in my immediate area.. I have 2 options I figure..
Option 1: ISO roommate.. pref female, non-smoker who can carry the rent & her own bills.. I can likely get a 2 bedroom apt in this building, so I'd still be in West Hill near my docs.. Rent is just over $800 I think..
Option 2: ISO of 1 bedroom/bach apartment in Lawrence/Kingston area.. Needs to be clean & have separate entrance. On site (shared) laundry, full kitchen a must.. Prefer not to have have stairs, or if stairs, manageable ones - dunno if that's even an option.. TTC accessible.. Can afford just over $500/mo, inclusive.
Any help?? Any thoughts?? I do not need to give 60 days notice.
hey scarborough residents! just wondering if anyone knows of a place that fixes stereo equipment. i have an older harmon/kardon amp that just blew out, and i recently bought an old turntable that needs a new belt and needle. i need to bring this stuff in, but i know old fashion repair shops have gone the way of the dinosaur. are there any in south scarborough? or anywhere in scarborough? your help is appreciated!
Anyone have a suggestion for a good dentist in the east end of Scarboro (I'm in West Hill).. esp for someone with chronic pain.. At this point, just a good reference will do.. & someone I could see easily/quickly..
Let's say...hypothetically....I wanted to take some pictures of the East Side Mural on Lawrence Ave. Now....how would I go about doing that? Are people allowed to just wander out of the station and into that parking lot area to take pictures? Or would I be trespassing?
