We visited Cresson.
There were so many buildings and tunnels and it was overwhelming and we probably didn't even see half of what there was to see.
Built in 1913. It was a sanatorium until 1964. It was then a medium security all male prison until 2013. Then it was derelict.

Not sure what this used to be. We've driven by it dozens upon dozens of times and never stopped to photograph it.
Well I'm glad we finally did because I don't think it exists any more.

Back in 2022 we went to Gainesville, Florida.
Here are a selection of photos that I took with my rig.
Mostly of the sandhill cranes - which are a subspecies of the crane that do not migrate!

Eastern State Penitentiary is absolutely fascinating and I love that they're showing it in it's state of abandonment and decay.
While not my typical urb-ex target because it's not truly abandoned it was a really interesting place to shoot in and I really don't mind paying admission to cool places like this to help them avoid the wrecking ball. It was a grey and rainy day and there weren't many people inside.
