Back on 2/6/25 we went to hike in Owl Canyon.
We didnt' see any owls but we saw lots of signs of owl habitation in the canyon. Lots of scraps of other birds and lots of owl poop. They are barn owls so they're daytime hunters so they were out and about hunting while we were hiking in the canyon.i

We got different weather every day we were there. On 5/10/24 we got summer.

It bleps its nose just like a dog. If not pet why pet shaped?

Yellowstone was just amazing
So if you're keeping track on our Yellowstone Animal Bingo Card:
Yesterday we got Bison and Elk.
Well today we got Moose, Ravens, a Bear, and Kildeers.

Oh I know I am frightfully behind in getting photo work done.
Kinda my thing tho.

Here are some photos from my first day at Yellowstone. It was cold. It was blustery. It snowed on and off. More on than off.
And the bison had just birthed their calves and were bringing them down to the low meadows. I never in a million years thought I would ever see fresh born baby bisons.

First I spotted this elk tho and got real excited.










The weather just changed that quick!









This is all I shot with the big camera on this day.

I got to meet so many cool birds and creatures at The Badlands.
Yeah yeah yeah I'm really behind in photo processing.

I am so fascinated with this park and how this giant sand dune formed in the middle of nowhere.

Gilroy Rules
