My city, why I love it:
Mar. 23rd, 2011 07:57 amJoan Jett played at the Star of Texas rodeo & fair last night. About three hours of ropin' and ridin' and then about a hour and half of music. The night's crowd appeared to be approximately 40% cowboys, 20% families and friends, and rest various gay folk ranging from adorably sexy baby punks to comfortable old couples.
Also, funnel cake occurred. Is there any other reason to go to a fair? OMNOMNOM.
...seriously, though, why don't they make savory funnel cakes? That would have been pretty awesome with chili powder or salt & vinegar.
