i’m so tired of being endlessly faced with unending cruelty no matter where i go online. i just want to be a kid again. too naive to feel so hopeless and too innocent to know that what i’ve just heard was a rape joke. before everyone was so fucking jaded. before andrew tate and before don’t say gay and before i decided i would never go outside again because im so scared of what’s out there
i wanna be a kid on club penguin inviting other kids to look at how i decorated my igloo. i want to go on forums for pokémon and my little pony and talk about how much i love meowth and how fluttershy is best pony. i want to go on minecraft servers and tpa to people’s creative plots to do a skin competition or collect youtubers heads in head shops. i want to go on deviantart and look at gumball ocs and users with licking cat emoticons as their profile pictures.
i want to be able to make friends everywhere i go online. i want to be able to scroll five minutes without hearing about why everyone’s gonna die in five years. i want to be able to go outside without being terrified of everyone on the street because it’s been drilled into me that everyone and everything is a threat.
and i’m sure someone will come after me. say these are my white tears at having to face an ounce of struggle in my life
i don’t care anymore. clearly, nobody will ever care about other people ever again, so why should i even try.
