Katelijne and Iain

I am very proud of my husband

Click here to see the top sekret project he has been working on for the past two months - step up clothes for TRH Stein and Gemma.  He is bringing both outfits to display at KA&S next weekend.

I helped him with the chemise neckline embroidery - from this I learned that I do have a distinctive style of embroidering.  I meant to have smocking done on the sleeves but unfortunately that was a tragic failure on the first attempt.  Thus HRH wore ribbons around her wrists to gather up the sleeves.  I will perfect my technique and fix that hopefully in time for the display but I am not holding my breath as I want to make a lattice-work pearled partlet for it as well plus write a paper for school and a capital money request for 500k (work stuff)...  *smiles*  but it is a long drive there so who knows.

About the event this weekend - it was awesome.  I am not very good with words but it was very touching and heart-felt on many levels that tend to not affect a cynic like me.  I am a very lucky person to have friends like you all. *mwah*  Too much to say, too little brain bandwidth.

Tomorrow, Chris is back, then we are going home for 2 days.  KITTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then KA&S, then home for a week, then back to work for 2 weeks, then home for a few days, then off to vancouver, then to the danescombe academy event, then back to work for a week, then 3 weeks off which includes May Crown!

Jet set?  Nah.
