Starting the New Year
With the New Year finally being here, it is time for me to start the new diet and see if I can't achieve a new me this year.
Because of health reasons, I have had to cut out all wheat products (breads, cereals, pasta etc) and most fruits. I have fructose malabsorption.
I have also cut out all caffeine and am reducing my intake of sugar. Iam was a massive Coke drinker. I could easily get through up to 6 cans a day.
I am now five days caffeine-free and surprisingly have not had any withdrawal symptoms. I am trying to drink as much water as I can, but am finding always needing to go to the bathroom extremely annoying.
I am proud to say that I have already dropped 1kg (2.2lbs) in the past five days, so hopefully I can shed the 10kg (22lbs) that I need to.
Has anyone else started a new diet this year? What are you doing? How is it going?
