So yeah I'm the only negro posting up in this biatch And I got a couple of things to talk about.. so lets get to it biatches!
Otep: House of Secrets
So I got this album a few days ago. This album goes deeper into Otep's (the lead singers actual name)childhood and the things she delt with. The abusive family, and being molested and raped by her father. From the first track to the very last track you are pulled in and shit out..and taken threw this journey of anger and hate and the shit she dealt with.
Like there other two albums her vocals are still brutal as fucking ever, everywhere from blood curlting screams to demonic low growls.
If a fan or not, i suggest you get this album, its a good fucking time.

Next up....
Killswitch Enage: The End of Heartache
This album is very good mixture of tradtional metal and the newer age of metal. This is just a continuation of there last album "Alive or Just Breathing." which was done completely by a different singer, who left the band for whatever reasons. But the new singer who was also at ozzfest last year proved himself to everyone that he can rock it out with the best. His vocals range all over the charts from harmonic singing to insane screams that make you wanna punch the person next to you. Every track is hard and rocks your sock like a fuck threw everyone. Just like there last album they have a couple tracks that are acousty but have no vocals. I would of liked to hear some vocals on those.. knowing that he can actually sing. I suggest to everyone to pick up both albums because both are really good. Even with two different singers.

I bought this CD out of pure randomness and it was a pleasant purchase!

N.E.R.D Fly Or Die is very mellow but has the most addicting beats I've herd since they put there last album out. With the mix of rock Guitar riffs with the electronic beats its a combination made in heaven or hell which ever means good to you. The CD moves very well and even on Random you can get the feel for it by the third song.
And to rate this .....mwhahahaha
Technique- N.E.R.D is flawless with their beats and singing ability , or to mix their vocals with the beat, either way they get a 2
Ability- Anybody who can go above the Neptunes in there beat making ability let me know seriously 2
Vocals- Ha heres were I can get them so they dont get a perfect score, Pharell's vocals don't really change that much I know thats the neptunes style but I would like to hear maybe just a diffrent filter on his voice, I dont know maybe I'm asking too much. 1
Overall CD- Great CD is a definate near must have. I'd say if flows well but thats the next cadigory so on with it 2
Flow of the CD- WOW a great flow kicking again out of the neptunes/ they are genius. 2
Overall a 9
Check it out its worth your time!
I recently got the cd Permission to land by The Darkness
this cd is truly the greatest CD I have herd in some time.
I put the cd in my player and before I knew it the CD was over, and i wanted to listen to it again.
Everysong from this album reeks of fun and past rock n roll which actually had feeling into its lyrics and yet was completely carefree.
My personal picks of the album are
track number 1 black shook
it alone is a great song with awsome guitar riffs along with a melody that was plainly from the 80's which was an awsome time for guitar players everywhere. Notice I said guitar most of the rest of the 80's sucked or are alive still merely for a laugh.
the next pick is Get your hands off my woman motherfucker
the song title alone is reason enough to want to hear that song it awsome with alot of high pitched screams it rules.
Plainly the two singles I believe in a thing called love and Growing on me, are great songs as well, and then theres my friend Jeffs personaly favorite
Love on the rocks with no ice, this song is a great song as well with great song lyrics.
Any way the Darkness can best be described as Iron maiden Vocals, mixed with the guitars of Motley Crue.
Overall a great cd to take with you on trips and also just to listen to on the road it moves very well and keeps the intrest.
Rating this CD is hard but out of my 10 possible points
which is rated as following
2 points for technique
2 points for like ability
2 points for Vocals
2. points for The over all CD
2 points for the flow of the cd
they got max points technique, and like ability, The vocals also managed to get max points, The overall cd only got 1 point merely because its a only 10 tracks and I wanted more, and finally for the flow I give it 1 point, the last track dosent seem to belong with the rest of the CD,
overall rating an 8
definatly worth checking out
I'll be reviewing CD's whenever I get enough money to buy them lol
