Doctor Who - Doubt

I feel sort of irreverant posting this so soon after the news about Elisabeth Sladen, which is why it's taken so long to post after the deadline. But this definitely still does need to be said. (this is basically the same post as in the doctor_donna comm)

Title: Doubt

Prompt Word: doubt
Notes/Warning: Response to Travellers' Tales Prompt #39 at doctor_donna.
…So in the unhealthy amount of time I spend pondering the well-acted tragedy that was Journey’s End, this came up (courtesy of my mother, actually). While the Doctor really didn’t have the authority to do what he did, Donna *let* him do it anyways. As much as she protested, when it came down to it she let him make the choice, which I find incredibly interesting, and incredibly brave. This prompt seemed sort of perfect for it.
Summary: He had never understood why Donna Noble had trusted him so much… post JE

Doctor Who - Never Alone

Alright, I thought that this oneshot was going to be the death of me. I had SUCH images in my head for the prompt...but they flat-out refused to take shape on the page. Thus, I had to take a very different direction here... But I'm alright with these images, too.

Notes/Warning: Response to Travellers' Tales Prompt 37 at doctor_donna. (and SO much thanks to them for letting me be late with this :).)
This one was a LOT harder for me than I thought it was going to be. I loved the prompt, but none of the images in my head came out even remotely right. This is not what I originally planned, but the angst won out in the end. As usual...

Doctor Who: He Was Wrong

The scene in "The Runaway Bride" where they meet the Racnoss and you find out that Lance is working with her and evil and all that etc. always frustrates the heck out of me, because of all the crap he says about Donna. Cos first of all, that's not her AT ALL (hello? BRILLIANT WOMAN HERE!!), and because I feel it, too. I feel like he makes her feel...but enough about me. Do enjoy!! I like this one (:.

Disclaimer: Doctor Who and all of its characters and locations etc. belong to their respective owners (if I owned it, Donna would still have her memories and be flying around with him in that little blue box). I own only my original storylines. No copyright infringement intended!

Summary: The lies that Lance told… Tag to "The Runaway Bride".

Rating: G
Author's Note: I love this episode. I absolutely adore Donna's character (Catherine Tate is just plain brilliant in this role), and I identify very deeply with her (I see myself like she sees herself before the Doctor told her she was brilliant). This little fic takes place during their TARDIS journey to the beginning of the world, and I always want to slap Lance silly for all of the things he says to her right before they escape. So…this is about that? Yeah. I hope you enjoy! (:

Doctor Who: Passus Satis

...I'm terrified of this fic. It was unexpected and a lot darker than I like to go with some things...I don't know. It's not even that it's THAT dark, but the images in my head are WAY worse... It's hard to explain.

I DID get to play with the formating, though; so that was something. (:0

...Enjoy? Maybe?

Summary: She's trapped on one side of time, and he's on the other watching her die…

Author's Note: …Alright, THIS one I have no idea why. NO IDEA. I wrote it between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning, and I don't know why, other than the fact that I needed angst. I did read an interesting fic just before writing it, but all of the bad in that one was a dream, not like this. I am truly sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me.

Two (quick) things. ONE: This was not intended to be romantic. I dunno if anyone will take it that way or not, but I try to clarify…

THING NUMBER TWO: The posting of this fic is the fault of x-Avarice-x (on FFN): I wasn't going to, and then I showed I to her and she made me do it. That is all.

Doctor Who: Don't, Amy

This one is too short. And there are too many question marks :p. Hopefully, though, my Muse will cooperate and let me do the sequel to it that I'm planning... I love the idea. Keep your fingers crossed!!

Summary: "Thanks, Spaceman." The Doctor darkened. "Don't ever call me that, Amy. Just…don't." Amy realizes that she's not the first.

Author's Note: It bothers me with series 5 that the Doctor never tells Amy anything about his previous companions. Granted, it would be a painful topic; but he loved them, and they made him what he is, and he owes it to them to keep their memories alive.

The inspiration for this came partially from conversations that I've been having with Aurora Lynn and Spacer8000 (on FFN), and partially from something that my sister pointed out to me in Tennant's Easter special, with Christina. Also, I've always wondered what Amy's reaction would be to finding out that there were others before her (and the deleted scene on the series 5 dvds DOES NOT COUNT. That was an awful scene, and an insult to all of the wonderful companions that the Doctor has had).

Doctor Who: Gratias Astra

As promised, a happy!fic involving Donna. This one also happens to involve Wilf, 'cos I adore him, and I'm not sure I would have been able to write anything particularly happy without him today... All of my ideas were turning out angsty, and then HE stepped in and saved the day. Thank God for Wilf and his awesome!! *hugs him*

Summary: A special night for Wilf, courtesy of the Doctor and Donna. Set sometime before "Midnight".

Author's Note: Because I flat-out *adore* Wilf. And I promised like, four people a non-tragic (Donna involved) Doctor Who fic for once… So here's for you girls, faithful readers that you are. (: Cheers!!

Doctor Who: Aestus

Here's another sad one for you. Not quite sure where it came from (and it's definitely something that I would NEVER really want to happen), but the images in my head were so vibrant that I had to do it...please forgive me.

Doctor Who: Aestus

Summary: The Doctor does not always get to chose "if"… sometimes he can only control "how"… post Journey's End.

Author's Note: I don't know what's wrong with me. Donna is my favorite character; in no way does she deserve any of this. She didn't deserve the ending that they gave her in Journey's End, let alone what these stupid plot daleks put into my head to write. But I had to write the images out, or they'll never leave me.

So many apologies to poor Donna, whose brilliance can never be captured (or forgotten).

Doctor Who: Sine Verbis

When I first wrote this story, I wasn't satisfied with how it came out. It was very hard for me to write, and I didn't feel like it even began to do Donna justice.
...I'm still not satisfied and don't think it does her justice; but I do love this fic. A friend a couple of lovely reviewers helped me to see it differently...
Anyways, there's my LJ rant on it, and now I'll shut up. Enjoy!!

Disclaimer: Doctor Who and all of its characters and locations etc. belong to their respective owners. I own only my original storylines. No copyright infringement intended!

Summary: Donna Noble is the one thing in the universe that the Doctor has found no words for… pre- End of Time. Doctor POV.

Rating: G

Author's Note: I've never felt *constrained* by words before, but in trying to do Donna justice, I find myself helpless. It can't be done.

This was inspired by something Ace of Gallifrey said to me once, and part of it by a conversation that I've been having with SPACER8000 (fanfiction.net). She brought something to my attention that I hadn't really considered before, and I tried to touch on it here towards the end. Dunno how I did haha. We'll see.

Enjoy? (:

doctor and donna

(no subject)

this is the first doctor who fic i have successfully completed. i've tried for two years to write for this fandom and these particular characters, bu it never really felt right. i don't know if this one is any more right than any other, but i like it, in a sad sort of way... And it doesn't even begin to do justice to her utter brilliance...

Title: memories
Fandom: Doctor Who
Author: raindropdragons
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Donna Noble, Wilf

Disclaimer: Doctor Who and all of its characters and locations etc. belong to their respective owners. I own only my original storylines. No copyright infringement intended!
Summary: When I took her along with me I knew that she was going to save worlds, and she did. In a show of spectacular brilliance, Donna Noble saved the universe... And I had to take that all away… Post "Journey's End".

Author's Note: Donna is my favorite Companion – truly brilliant – and it kills me how they ended her partnership with the Doctor. I've wanted to write her for a long time. I don't know if I've done it particularly well or if I've got them very much in character here, but this one needed to be written. Hopefully more will follow.

Please excuse my weird tense changes. The idea is that he's talking about her in the past and the present at the same time; I know it's a little strange for the reader the way I did it, but I hope it makes sense.
