Building Bridges Between LGBTQQIA People Across Japan

Well, here it is folks. QUEER JAPAN: an open forum for all (Japanese and foreign) Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans-gendered, Queers, Questioning, Intersex, and Allies living in the great Land of the Rising Sun. I have set up this site to help "strengthen ties," "form communities, "build awareness," "promote politically active queer networking," etc. etc. But whatever. This page is, at best, a framework, an optimistic idea that could prove useful as a tool, as a catalyst for change, or hell, even a dating service -- at worst, a far-off hope that dies in the water. In the end, it is what we make of it....

Feeling lost? Alone? Really need to just find friends like you in this sometimes not-so-forgiving place? Believe me, WE'RE EVERYWHERE! So, click to enter and network like it's 1999.

Wanna know what people out there are learning in the realm of queer Japan? Inquire within.

What about study abroad or working overseas? If your're thinking about becoming a professional ex-pat, it might be important that you get the skinny on this big ol' scary world.

Taking a trip? Need ideas about what queer-friendly clubs, restaraunts, shopping areas to go to whilst there? Don't trust "Lonely Planet" and post.

Art, drama, music, movies, sex, sports, politics.... it's all good.
